The view overlooking the river was wonderful! Even more, unlike so many other hotels, the window could be opened, so as to enjoy the breeze and the coastal fresh air, as well as the relaxing sounds of the river and wildlife. The bed was very comfortable. The fireplace in the room was a nice addition. Breakfast overall was better than what one fines at most other hotels. The food was of good quality and was tasty. The seating for breakfast was abundant, something lacking at other hotels.

While breakfast was generally very good, t one huge disappointment is that there were no non-pork meat offerings. In the photos of the property, there was turkey sausage patties as an option. The fact that there are many people who cannot eat pork products such as Muslims, Jews, Seventh-day Adventists, those who are allergic to pork products, and those who choose to not eat pork due to heath reasons, it is surprising that the hotel would not provide any non-pork meat offerings. I was really looking forward to using the hot tub while there. Sadly, both the pool and the hot tub were closed. I was very surprised that they would close these over their busy weekend traffic.

Good hot food breakfast with a view of the riverfront and a view of ducks and people enjoying the small beach. Excellent location along US highway 101 convenient to just about everything in Astoria. The staff personally checked other rooms and found us a river view room that was almost completely finished with all the handicap features functional. The staff personal inspections of the rooms saved the day for us.

The hotel was being remodeled and the staff computer system wasn't up to date regarding the completion status of the rooms. We needed a mobility handicapped room, but we got sent to a room didn't have the handicap features reinstalled and had the windows covered with painter's plastic covers.

The location was excellent. We stayed at the property before and were pleased with our stay and the location. We liked walking on the board walk in the morning and smelling the salt air.

The hotel was full with other travelers. As a result, by the time we got to the breakfast room there was very little left - bacon was completely gone. Maybe providing for those individuals who were late risers should be a consideration especially in the summer time when young children are at the property. It was like a “feeding frenzy.”

This is the perfect location to tour not only Astoria but also the Long Beach Peninsula a few miles to the north and the Seaside/Cannon Beach area to the south. The free breakfast is very well presented and offers a better-than-average selection and quality of food and drinks. The hotel is an excellent place to watch the river traffic from, and we enjoy that aspect very much.

As elsewhere, prices have gone up significantly since our last stay, more than 50%. We're traveling less, and staying for shorter periods of time.

We were able to get a room on the third floor and the view was very nice.

We requested to check in between noon and 1:00 p.m. and were told that check-in was at 4:00 p.m. The previous tenant was to check out at noon and with cleaning the soonest we could get in would be 2:00 p.m. They took my cell number and said they'd call. They never called and we waited in the parking lot in our car in the pouring rain for about an hour and finally checked and got into our room. Also, we were told three different ways that we were to pay and two different prices.

Loved how friendly the staff was, the room was very clean, hot tub was nice. Pool was a cold, but granddaughter loved it

The pool was a little to cold for me. Couldn't find the ice machine on the 3rd floor. It would be nice if there was a visitor book or web page for places to visit and eat or of order in.

Location is best of all hotels in Astoria. Definitely pay for riverview room - we had a panoramic view right under the bridge. Note they are in midst of renovations - they did a superb job of limiting the disruptions. New design looks amazing. Breakfast surprisingly decent

Nothing. We weren't going to use the pool, but do note pool was closed due to renovations.

Location was fabulous. Our room was a little noisy during the evening from the oeople next door. All positive reinforcement from very loud mother to child, very loud child, but they settled down at bed time. The staff was wonderful, so pleasant and accomodating!

Sound proofing between rooms left something to be desired.

Right on river front. Pleasant employees. Good variety in breakfast. Comfortable beds.

Large corner room but huge bridge support blocked some of view. AC intermittent in separate bedroom. Bathroom fan had gap in attachment. Pool and hot tub had brown patches on floor.

Our room was great, the bed was very comfortable. Loved the river view and the fireplace. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff were helpful and kind.

Would love a peloton bike in the fitness center and some more weight options
