It was by the river and had beautiful grounds because of all the trees. It was also conveniently located.

I feel the property needs an uplift-more attention to clean up around some of the rooms. I know since Covid a lot of businesses are lacking in help and the Shilo is showing its need for more attention.

This may have been the nicest hotel stay I have ever experienced. Our room was large and exceptionally well-appointed. The balcony looked over the Deschutes River -- green, cool, and inviting. I needed to teach a class by Zoom during my stay; the hotel gave me access to a business conference room for free to teach the class. I now cannot imaging staying anyplace else in Bend. On top of all this, the hotel was a great value.

There was a couch and table so we could all hang out and decompress after going out. I got a second floor room and the balcony view was incredible even with the smoke from the fires.

I did find some trash behind the bed side table and the sheets had debris in it almost like the lint trap didn't catch everything.

Pleasantly surprised since our last visit last year. New staff and very friendly. Facilities clean, quiet, and comfiest bed ever. We had a river view and it was peaceful and we were even upgraded for the night to accommodate our friend joining us at no extra cost. 5 stars all around!

There is nothing not to like about this property.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and I liked the set up of the pool house with the double hot tubs.

The room was a little dark, and there was only outside access to the pool so it was pretty cold going back to room.

I loved staying here. The staff went above, and beyond. The river was right out our door. Swimming pools were great, as well as the hot tubs. I just wouldn’t recommend getting food from the restaurant Currents near by. Maybe for drinks… not food.

Beautiful location on the river. Nice heated pool area. Quiet and spacious. outdoor patio.

Screen door was broken off the tracks and couldn’t leave open the patio door. No ice box in fridge. No coffee refills or in lobby.

Beds were very comfortable, we used the fireplace and right next to the river. I will definitely be back.

I hope the restaurant will be open next time so we could get breakfast, but still very worth it.

The setting for motel was inviting. Trees, river. Weren’t a lot of stairs to our upstairs room. Room clean with a lot of ambience. Door to outside balcony overlooking river. Fireplace. Hot water for shower with good pressure. High end towels. Beds comfortable. There were bad reviews online that made us hesitate. Glad we did not listen to them. This is wonderful.
