From the outside, when you drive up, you see an old motor inn from the 1970's. It seems a bit disheartening. Walk into the lobby and you're met with friendly folks and a completely renovated facility. I asked if they would move me to a room at the front of the property and they did so gladly. I still didn't know what to expect of the room but was surprisingly impressed when I opened the door. Contemporary. It felt, looked and smelled fresh and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but there was a vanity outside of it that gave plenty of room. Plenty of towels. No fridge or microwave but that was fine. Tommy's 4th Street Bar & Grill at the corner of the property was excellent. There are excellently rated restaurants within a block or two. I intend to stay again if I'm ever back in town.

I had no issues.

Pros: -close to restaurants, market, gas, OSU. -hard floors rather than carpet. -very friendly staff. -seemed updated. -check in/check out easy. -answered questions quickly through messaging. -free parking.

Cons: -no refrigerator or microwave in room (had to use community one). -could hear upstairs people (moving things, TV) late at night. -had to find street parking after coming back from dinner at 9:45 pm...no spaces available....went during graduation weekend. -bathroom door let's light out, so if someone turns on bathroom light late at night or early morning to use, it lights up the whole bedroom.

From the outside this property fits the description of an old 50s motor inn trying to keep up with 2025 but might be falling behind. However when I stepped into their room I was astonished at how cleverly redesigned they were! The designer updated, but kept true to, the charm of the 50/60s era and added a touch of artistic industrial look! Rooms are very spacious, clean, well lit and comfortable. Lots of room in the bathroom for ‘getting ready’. Firm mattress, great pillows. Free Pac-Man, gracious hostess! Great location! If you’re staying in Corvallis, stay in the old charm and character of the city…..skip the sterile, boring franchised chains. Enjoy some hometown beauty and personality! You won’t regret it! You have to stay here!

Parking was tight.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and located near the vet hospital at OSU where our dog was having surgery. We were pleasantly surprised by how updated the rooms were. Modern, clean aesthetics. Very comfortable mattress. Great lighting. Great shower. We appreciated the carpet free flooring. Our pup enjoyed sleeping on the couch!

There were nice room darkening curtains on the window, but when those were open to let light in, there was no privacy. It would be nice to have some sheer, translucent curtains under the room darkening ones to let natural light in while maintaining privacy.

Most rooms appear to be more spacious in advertisements than in reality, but this room came exactly as I hoped. I was only in for a night, but it met all of my needs and more. The location is pretty close to a lot of venues within walking distance if you're there to visit someone at OSU, and it felt safe enough with ample parking on premises. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well! They also gave me a discount to the nearby diner, which I tried (I love diners). It was pretty quiet for me - but I came on a Wednesday night, so the volume of people matters.

Only little things: the shower is angled in a way that sprayed beyond a thin curtain. The hotel wifi is okay for streaming but not for HD/4k situations. There was no small fridge, pot, or anything for me to cool down or warm up my food. You'll have to go to the nearby Safeway or 7-Eleven if you want supplies. These were all small things that barely deterred my incentive to want to stay again at Hotel Corvallis.

I was given a "standard room" that did not have a closet, an adequate table or chair. There was no room to put the suitcase or clothes and items from the suitcase. The "standard room" is not an adequate lodging if you have suitcases and clothes! I spoke to the receptionist and she immediately changed the room and gave me a room with better accommodations. Parking outside the room was easy for unloading/loading the car. There were plenty of eateries in the area. All the staff were friendly.

Hotel was super cute and unique modern. Close to places to eat and things to do. Convenient location. Staff friendly.

Listing said King bed but it was a Queen. They handed us a "breakfast voucher" that was really a $5 coupon for an overpriced diner in the parking lot. My biggest complaint is that doors were being slammed repeatedly, VERY early in the morning. It must have been staff because we were over the office and nobody was against adjacent walls.

Can't beat the location here. Walking distance to OSU campus, food and other places to shop right on the same street! The hotel itself is a nice funky style, a redo of what looks to be an older motel. The staff were super friendly, and the office has complimentary drinks and snacks. The rooms have been updated in a very spare, modern, spacious style. I stayed in the king bed room, and the platform bed is very comfortable. As a tall person, I found the shower to be excellent height, and great water pressure, enough room so I don't bang my elbows on the sides of the shower! This room was the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in! Props to the housekeeping staff and the maintenance crew! The price is very reasonable, one of the cheapest in Corvallis.

Sara at the front desk helped me with a problematic room reservation through Booking.com. She was very kind and knew just what to do. It took almost half an hour to get the problem resolved. I'm grateful!! Beds are great. Everything is very clean. Heater works well. Quality is consistent over my 5 stays.

The floors are very cold, even in summer. It's hard to tell when the shower's water is at the right temperature. You have to lean into it, getting wet. Opening needs to be near the shower head.

The property is conveniently located to downtown and to OSU. Parking is readily available. The room was sparse- free of fabric upholstery and carpet, yet clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and for extra fun there is a PacMan game in the lobby. All of which is great if you need a place to shower, sleep, and get in and out of conveniently.

From the outside it looks a little run down, however that could have been due to the gloomy weather!
