I enjoyed the breakfast selections. Egg items could be labeled as to additions ie. cheese, vegetables etc. Bacon was good, but very salty. Lots of options for seating. It was a very quiet Sunday morning in Independence. Bonus points for having TMC as one of your TV channels!

Not much wrong. I should have asked for a room with a bathtub. My fault. The toilet paper was very skimpy. Towels were great. I know it is wine country, but appreciate a good IPA on the evening menu.

This hotel is a boutique gem sitting on the Wilamette River. The building, furnishings and amenities were all in top notch condition, thoughtfully designed and comfortable. A beautiful patio and rooftop deck provide views of the river. The dining options were tasty. This is a very relaxing get-away from the hustle and bustle location with a friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely plan to come back next year.

Beautiful hotel that abounds with art and style. The location is also ideal for a small town getaway. Lots of restaurants and shops you can walk to. It is situated right next to the river with birds and deer all around. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet.

We were sad to find that the hot tub was not working, and there was no pool. We had also hoped to watch a DVD but there were no players. The buffet was extensive, but I happened to get there when all the breakfast meat and coffee were out, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes for those. I guess that happens in a large hotel. The staff kept working to make more.

I wish every hotel could be this hotel. Beautiful setting, cool town, great location, very nice staff, clean, awesome rooms, super breakfast. I loved this place! Great place and great town for a couple's get away weekend, and this hotel is impeccable.

This is our second time staying here, as our son is considering the local university. We love the location (on the river, a walking path nearby, and close to the small yet very charming downtown.). The room and bathroom were very clean and the heating worked well (forced air) which can be an issue in the winter. The rooftop area was open but had no service, with a fire feature. Nice view up there. The breakfast had a lot of options and a great view of the river. It's the best option if you are visiting Western Oregon University (IMO). There are local restaurants to choose from, and the 2 we ate at were good (very large portions, so be warned! :) Also, my husband and sol left behind electronics (which seems to happen to us a lot :) and the hotel was quick to find them and cheerful about helping us.

The property was beautiful & staff was friendly. The grounds were so nice and there was ample free parking!

Didn’t like the one issue we had with our room locking from the inside behind us. It was extremely inconvenient and although staff acted quick to fix it they did not seem bothered by the inconvenience to us, the guest and that impacted my trip negatively.

Extremely clean. Even stood up to the black-light test in the room via a black light flashlight that easily illuminates nasty surprises. The room was ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. Mattresses comfy…Pillows excellent.

Wonderful location at the Willamette River with a nice terrace for breakfast and dining. Nice, bright rooms, comfortable beds and seating. Good breakfast and nice amenities like fitness room, hot tub and laundry

Beautiful location right on the river. Room was lovely and big, with high ceilings. Breakfast had lots of delicious food and great coffee. We were there on a Sunday night and the town seemed almost deserted. We enjoyed walking the river trail with our dog and having a drink on the patio.

Only one minor issue: housekeeping tried to enter our room in the morning, despite the 'do not disturb' placard on the door. We were there with our dog, who unfortunately now thinks he needs to be on guard in hotels.

Beautiful location on the river; spacious, comfortable room; staff was quick to respond with extra towels when we asked. We loved walking along the river.

Breakfast was limited in terms of gluten-free options and allergens were not labelled.
