I absolutely loved that there was no smoking in the entire building. I’m not one who can handle the smell, because I’m allergic. That had to be my biggest highlight of my entire stay. I also enjoyed the pool area with my family. Only a few hours was all we really needed, and we got just that.

Because we went through booking.com; we weren’t able to get out 2 Queen bed room. Instead the gave us a rollaway bed which was fine. Instead the end all we had was one night. Considering we were on the same floor as the pool I couldn’t complain to much. It was easy access in and out for the pool, breakfast, and to come in and leave.

I was highly impressed with the hotel overall. It was very beautifully staged, and super clean. The room was perfectly spacious, neat and tidy, had plenty of storage, and the basic neccesities you need when you stay away from home. the breakfast and pool were a nice bonus, all the staff was polite and friendly. Special shoutout to receptionist Tori ( i might not be spelling it correctly). She checked us in, and we saw her the most. She was above and beyond friendly, and really made us all feel like we were part of the family. I was there with my son for the keystone state wrestling championship tournament at PSU Bryce Jordan center arena, and we havd multiple friends and family styaing inthe same hotel. We all loved her, she asked how the bosy did in the tournament daily and often said she wished she coudl come. Checked on us every time we came in and out, and was so welcoming my son and his best friend started hugging her and calling her "momma auntie tori". It was truly heart warming. they both still state how much they miss her just a week later. Tori is such a gem for your company. THANK YOU TORI!!!

My only 2 minor complaints would be the pool was a little chilly. We were grateful to have a pool though, it was super clean and in great shape just a little cold, towels were always stocked, clean bathrooms in the pool area, water fountains and loungers. We enjoyed the breakfast bar it was great overall, but I gotta say the coffee was terrible. That isn't anything the workers could have done about that, but thats for corporate to look into and change. I don't like to nit pick, so again these were extremely minor these ad I was above and beyond satisfied with my stay.

Staff was expecting me and recognised me even before I showed any booking proof. Hotel pictures look like the renovation esp the toilet wasn’t the newest style so I was thinking it might be run down but it is actually sparkling clean! Even the carpet in the corridor is so clean, any 5 star hotel couldn’t be cleaner. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They are not trained to behave like a 5 star hotel staff but they are nice and friendly from heart. I like that better! Hotel is very quiet and safe, location is just off the highway. Altoona is a beautiful and peaceful town we didn’t want to move in we wanted to stay there!

Nothing! The best hotel I have been in a long while!

My room and bath were fine. Having a frig and a microwave was a plus.

My heating unit (Room 203) was really loud. The breakfast, included, was mostly carbs. It would be fine for a family with children. I had a yogurt and a hard-boiled egg. The coffee urn was empty and the juice dispenser was broken. The location was not walking distance to any restaurants for dinner.

I would definitly book this hotel again! The room and the complete hotel in general was VERY clean and cosy. Perfect location on our way up north to Buffalo NY. The stuff (especially Kevin from the front desk) was extremly friendly and engaged to please! There were so many little details, which made the stay so special: like the comfy sitting area in the room in front of the window, the view per se, the extra outlet at the long table, the different lightning options in the room, the little lemonjuice packages at the coffe area, the matresses not too firm and not too soft. The interieur overall is well designed. The breakfast room has plenty of tables, which is quite rare in hotels in the US. It was by far the best accomodation during our road trip! I can recommend this hotel and the chain Microtel by Wyndham in general! We did enjoy our stay.

I liked the colors and the staff. I liked the lighting and that we could crack the window on the 4th floor. I loved the amount of towels provided to our bathroom and there were drawers and shelves everywhere! Also the view of the mountains was spectacular in the rain! The clouds just roll down them so pretty!

The bathroom had hair in tub and scum on the front of tub. There was dust at the top of the shower. The tv had not been checked to see if it was properly working so the night staff had to do her best and thankfully we got it. We are noise needing people when we sleep. The window was dirty had finger prints and smudges. And there wasn’t a note left in there like I had asked for.

Stays here are usually very good. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast buffet was totally different between the 2 days First day Friday AM an hour before ending time. Hardly any food, plates, etc and no staff seen during the last hour of service. Very poor. The second day Saturday AM was total turn around and everything was fine.

Everything! The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly. I loved the little snack area and while the breakfast area is a little cramped, it was still great and there was a great selection of breakfast items. The coffee and tea are was well stocked even into the late hours of the night. I’ve stayed at this location before and it is still my first choice!

The cleanliness of the room, the free breakfast, the noon check-out and the friendliness of the front desk staff. Very nice stay, I will definitely tell people about how nice it was to stay here. 🙂

I honestly liked everything about this hotel so there wasn't a thing that I saw that I wouldn't like.

The staff was really nice the poor guy at the front had to deal with me. He was great. That pool was good for the kids but the heater didn't work

The 1st room we had the ac worked great but made a high pitch screetch so we switched rooms. That ac would go from arctic air to balmy 84* at random. And the TV didn't work for an hour then got like 6 channels.
