Because of staffing issues the restaurant was not open. So the reviews that mentioned the bar noise is no longer an issue. Right across the street was Rezks restaurant which opens at 7am for breakfast which was fresh and cooked to order. The hotel is a recently remodeled 1890's hotel, it is nicely done and very clean. It is not staffed all the time but there is a phone # to call if you need anything. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hot water takes a little time to make to up to 3rd floor, but once it gets there it very hot. So if your looking to stay in northern Cambria I recommend this hotel over driving back to ebensburg everyday to sleep. Please remember that is a very old building very clean and quiet.

there could be a coffee service available maybe in the hallways or the rooms. There is a sheetz across the street which has fresh coffee 24/7 so its not to inconvenient. The room did include a small fridge to store cold drinks.

The City Hotel is wonderful and quaint in the town of Northern Cambria. We have stayed here several times and each time the experience does not disappoint! The rooms are really clean and spacious. It's in a remote quaint little town that works perfectly for our family as its close to our family reunion site!

The room was great with the exception of the TV not working. It shut off while watching it. That was very irritating as I had to use my phone for entertainment after a long day. I followed the instructions left for the TV but they weren't effective. When I was near I reached out to the number left for the hotel. The gentleman that answered was rude and short with me which is why I didn't feel.comfortable calling back and didn't.

nice rooms, just wish they had an elevator. But the conversion of the old building was well done.

We were really pleased with the hotel. The room was nicer that we were expecting. Very quiet.

They did let a note that it takes awhile for the water to warm up (due to the age of this hotel) but it took too long. :( I felt wasteful running the water for so long so my shower was not very warm. :(
