We stopped by Gettysburg under gray skies, mid-week in early December and the Quality Inn, like the others, had dropped their rates. It's one of the old standbys in town and a nice value for us. Room was really clean. Breakfast is served in a separate house on site, a short walk from our room. Waffles, sausage, eggs, various breads, fruits, muffins, OJ, apple juice etc. The indoor pool was open. Staff was nice. The National Park is on 2 sides of the property. Gettysburg Eddies is a short trip down the sidewalk for lunch or dinner. We didn't have time to stop in the onsite Old Reliance Mine Saloon, a local legend, for drinks. Next time.

Just a word about location. It's a good jumping off point for exploring the battlefield. Located at the south end of town you will not have to drive through the traffic to get to the 2nd day and 3rd day of the battle or the visitors center. Turn left leaving the parking lot and refer to the Nat'l Park map. However, it's a healthy walk to the busy square for shopping. Most will drive downtown for that. There are free parking spots a few blocks off the main drags if you want to avoid parking meters. As far as the Quality Inn itself we have no complaints.

For years QI gettysburg Battlefield has been our go to spot when we stay in the burg. It hasn't changed in all the time we've been going there. Same rooms, same decor, same everything. It's very well kept by fine staff who are friendly and outgoing. Could it use a facelift, maybe, but it would lose its homey charm. It's always clean, campus is well landscaped. There's 2 pools, laundry, ice and vending. It's literally next door to the battlefield. It's within walking distance of the ghost tour places and the bus tour spot. Loads of little shops and eateries. Breakfast is good, if you're hungry, you can eat a decent breakfast.

What more could you want?! Wifi, that's what. It's worked in the past, why not now? Nonexistant on the laptop, was able to access on my phone. When mentioned to the front desk about the no cable, she had maint address it and fix it immediately. When mentioned the wifi, she gleefully just said oh, just sign in with the password. Um, no. It needed a reboot or something, because there's no connection. Maint said the same thing when addressing the TV, just open up the QI wifi and login with the password. So 4 days no lap top while I was in my room. Fine. I read a book. Other than the terrible wifi, I really think they charge too much to stay there. It's not the beach. It's GB mid week.

This is an excellent location. Very peaceful. Next to the National Cemetary and just moments from the battlefield. Very pleasant street, safe to walk at any hour, nicely decorated with flower baskets hung from street lamps, plenty of places to eat and shop. The outdoor pool with surrounding landscaped area is beautiful. The rooms were adequate. They were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The balconies are great for sitting quietly or chatting with friends. The hotel is within walking distance to the historic downtown. All employees were warm and welcoming. Nice breakfast was included. This is a pet friendly facility and our little dog did very well. Would be happy to stay here again.

Location is awesome!! Breakfast was really good and I didn't have to cook it. Our room was spacious and comfy and the heater was appreciated after being outside in the cold. Easy access and loved the assigned parking places.

There's no elevator but the steps weren't that bad. You had to go outside to get to the breakfast house, which wasn't bad since it wasn't raining at the time.

The room was large and very comfortable. Everything was clean and worked properly. There were assigned parking spaces for each room so parking was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful during the entire week we were there.

This is a two story "motel" where all the rooms have external access. The only way to get to the second floor is by stairs on the outside of the building. If you are staying on the second floor you have to carry everything up and down the stairs yourself.

We really enjoyed our time at the Quality Inn Gettysburg overall - our room was very clean, the entire motel overall was clean. The pool was awesome. The breakfast cottage is adorable, but we wished there could have been a little more variety like with cereals and more sweet things other than the little muffins. But the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

Although our rooms were clean and nice, they were a little small, cramped. The bathroom was pretty tight. But we also understand that the facility was probably built in a different time and there isn't much you can do.

I was there over a holiday weekend, so it was extremely crowded. Being a dog-friendly establishment, I had two dogs next to me that barked and howled FAR too often. Not the hotel’s fault, but a poor experience nonetheless.

The location is in very easy walking distance from all the Gettysburg attractions. Parking is very convenient, and there are several restaurants within a few blocks. The continental breakfast was good as well. Room and bed were comfortable and spacious!

The breakfast cottage is incredibly cramped. The hotel wasn't very busy when we were there, so I couldn't imagine what it would be like on a busy summer weekend! Some of the facilities look a little dated and need refurbed.

Comfortable, very spacious room. Fantastic location within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and museums. Right next to the battlefield (we could see it from our room). Fantastic food across the road at the brewery. Breakfast was good too. Loved the old saloon bar!

I really wish hotels would have some consideration for the environmental consequences of using so much single use plastic. Breakfast is all plastic cutlery and plates, every single day. It makes me so sad as this is surely something that doesn't need to be.

this was a great hotel for our little mini vacation. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great! the pool was wonderful--liked that it was outside for the summer

i would have liked fresh towel be offered to me even with having a pet. if I were given a specific time--I would have been able to take the pup for a walk while the room was refreshed.
