Exceptional staff. Federal Pointe has good people there - wholesome and accommodating. It is very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the accommodations including the variety of tea flavors and lemon water. The Pub downstairs is a nice addition too. I ate the best pumpkin pie of my life there. The main hub of restaurants are close by and in-walking distance. Gettysburg battlefield is a short drive away. I would definitely stay at Federal Pointe again; especially for its value.

Plastic cups for tea/coffee, no plunger or cleaner for toilet, and the same free, K-Cup coffee in the lobby was for sale at the Pub.

I’m disabled. I mentioned it to the front desk that the website didn’t say there was no elevator. With a second floor room it was very difficult. If I was alone I wouldn’t have been able to stay. It really needs to be clear that there’s no elevator. The toilets also very low which is hard w mobility issues. And the AC was off in the building so the room was very warm and I have a medical condition that gets worse when hot. This was a gorgeous hotel and a wonderful experience so this is just suggestions for the hotel for other disabled travellers. It was the last leg of our trip and I totally understand that some buildings can’t be Ada so we were thrilled to stay here, I just think putting it on the site would be good so disabled travelers could make a point of requesting first floor rooms.

The Federal Pointe Inn in Gettysburg, PA was one of the finest Inn's I have ever stayed in. From start to finish, it was Exceptional in history, interior design capturing the style of the American Revolution and Civil War era's. The room we stayed in #307 had the most beautiufl king sized 4 poster, canopy bed that was Super Comfortable to sleep in. The room also had it's own keurig coffee/ tea making station with a refrigerator. A private bathroom with a large tub and a beautiful shower area. The coziness of the room was enhanced by the high ceilings, design, Civil war era furniture and paintings. In the am, I was able to enjoy the small work out room on the elliptical machine (there was a treadmill and reclinging exercise bike too with tv for watching the morning news or shows. Next to the gym was a cozy bar with delicious and generous portions of wine. This place is Highly Recommended and I would recommend putting this Inn into your contacts for those special vacations where you need rest and relaxation in addition to being pampered.

Our only minor critique is that the room was a bit too hot temperature wise at night. We were able to handle it though.

This is a beautiful Inn. Our friend suggested this place. We were so impressed with the beautiful interior, the paintings everywhere, and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was lovely and very clean. We also ate at the lounge downstairs. It was reasonably priced, great atmosphere, friendly service. The location of the Inn is within walking distance to all of the shops and pubs. We are definitely staying there the next time that we are in Gettysburg, PA.

Tasty breakfast great staff and location was of no issue, internet dropped outr so payment was made back at main hotel. No fuss or drama.

Nothing, except the stair rail was out of keeping with the property. Maybe consider at next refurbishment a wooded banister rail in keeping with a property of that age, the stainless steel one was totally functional but looked like it was out of a hospital! A rope style banister rail on the wall side would also enhance the look of the property. Just a bit of constructive feedback which didn't distract from a wonderful stay.

Room was large and comfortable with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Exceptionally quiet and private. Wonderful bathroom with granite, shower and spa tub. Wonderful staff. Located away from the crush of the more touristy areas but still a short walk to the center of town. We wished we could haves stayed an extra day and sampled the intimate bar and restaurant. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Gettysburg.

Air conditioning was difficult to control. We were told of this ahead of time.

I loved that this building once was an old school house now converted into an Inn. I hate to see old buildings empty or falling down. It was really very nice!

We had a light dinner down stairs. The quality of the food was not as impressive as the building in my opinion. The food was good except Shelly"s chicken in her salid was hard and dry. I will say that the waitress did not charge us for the chicken. That was nice.

Historical component beautifully restored. The atmosphere fit the vibe of our visit which was to learn more about our country’s history. Definitely eat at the pub/restaurant in the lower level- food was outstanding!

The shower water pressure was a bit low but it’s also older building so it’s to be expected.

It was a lovely historical hotel, once a school. We loved the period decor and the afternoon tea / scones. It was very welcoming and the staff was well versed and willing to share information about the building. Great location for battlefield tours, and local shops.

Liked it all! No elevators though, so it could be a challenge for some people.

As a renovated school, this property has tons of unique architecture but pulls in modern luxury as well. Hotel was clean and neatly kept, staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. The location is convenient without being right in the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. The whirlpool tub was an added bonus!

Temperature control in the room was a little tough- either too hot or too cold. There was a bathroom right outside the hotel room that meant lots of traffic and noise at all hours, as well as limited privacy.
