This cozy and comfortable gem was amazing! Breakfast was outstanding! Everything was comfortable and clean. This was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast and needless to say, it exceeded our expectations. Came for a weekend trip but stayed for the pleasing 1860’s aesthetics and staff who felt like family! We will definitely be back soon! Many thanks to all xoxo

Parking isn’t included; however, there was a parking garage adjacent to the property. $18 for a 24 hour period, just an FYI.

Excellent, walkable location. Close to stores, restaurants, pubs. Breakfast was delicious. Room very clean and spacious. Cozy electric fireplace in our room. Loved the big tub! So so relaxing. Shower was huge. Nice toiletries. Access to Keurig, water, fridge, wine. Parlors and library were beautiful. Loved the main staircase.

Did not sleep well. Despite the bed being comfy, it was so noisy at night—from the cars, trucks, ambulances, etc. There was a white mouse machine but the batteries were dead. The young man who worked there was a bit rude on our last morning there. Upon check in, he asked us which seating time we preferred-we said 9:15a, so one would assume that’s the time we eat both days. We weren’t told otherwise. Our last day, we come to breakfast at 9, there are only 2 place settings, and the young man says “You’re late.” We apologized stating we thought it was at 9:15. The young man never offered coffee refills, never said you’re welcome (as we thanked him for bringing out food, juice). Thankfully the older gentleman apologized for the time misunderstanding.

Stunning property and very clean

We were three to a room which meant our daughter slept on the pull out couch. Although our room was great, the pull out couch not so much. When they know there is three in the room and therefore the pull out will be utilized it would be nice if they left out a pillow and perhaps a quilt for use on that bed. My daughter had to use a not so comfortable throw pillow and throw blanket that was on the back of the couch that was not very warm. So a proper pillow and blanket for that bed would have been great.

Breakfast every morning was great. I'm a vegetarian and didn't mention that so my fault but fruit, eggs, muffin, juice, coffee - all great! The backyard/deck is lovely and a great place to relax and have a glass of wine.

Parking was conveniently located; you just have to pay for it. Our bed was very high, which was fine but I can see where some people might struggle with it.

Breakfast was always delicious, and the extra cookies, etc. were a nice bonus along with the tea and coffee options. Both Autumn and Taylor were excellent hosts and always helpful and attentive.

When we arrived, the original room we purchased had a broken toilet. We were transferred to another room. I would have preferred the original room. Also, the noise level, (cars, semi-trucks, trains) were extremely loud, which made our sleep very difficult.

The location was great, really nice bedrooms and communal area downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. The extensive coffee and tea making facilities downstairs was well replenished and had many flavours to choose from.

This is not a huge negative comment but perhaps a note for improvement? Upon check in we were asked if we had any food alergies. No one had food alergies but there are some things some of us just don't eat. Like red meat, bread etc. So when declining the cooked breakfast that included bacon, I was delivered french toast. I don't eat bread but there was no option to actually ask for something else. I was given scambled eggs the previous morning and that was fine. So the french toast was wasted and the chef had to make something else for me. Also offering wine for guests to help themselves is great but at least make the wine drinkable???

Perfect blend of historic decor/furnishings and modern conveniences, like flat screen TVs and glass showers.

I had a problem with the wifi. The manor's computers all worked fine, but I couldn't stay connected with my laptop. Staff helped me out on their computer so I could download maps I needed. But a guest that arrived during my stay said she had trouble too--she couldn't read on her iPad because the connection was bad. Weird issue, and not a deal breaker by any means, but maybe someone could investigate and fix the wifi problem.

The breakfast was outstanding! Each day we were given lovely fruit and scrumptious egg dishes. The location was perfect and the manor is beige. The staff was always super friendly.

It would have been nice to have another trashcan and another mirror in the room, but that is minor. There really wasn't any issue other than the traffic noise, but they have zero control over that.

Gorgeous accommodation, pristine, welcoming and fresh baked cookies. This location is perfect for wandering around historic Gettysburg. Lots of common area inside and out and breakfast in the dining room was elegant and delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings just beautiful.

Staff were wonderful, food was Michelin quality, and the house, room, and location could not be better
