The general facilities are grand and welcoming ~ particularly with respect to showing relevance to the entire Gettysburg experience. Love the large murals depicting important historical personages and artifacts ~ especially the authentic Civil War 3rd Ordnance Cannon displayed at main entry. Upon reception there was a live piano player singing Holiday tunes. Very nice touch! Restaurant and bar are not to be missed. Very good quality food and appointments. NICE BAR, too!

Would have liked a microwave in the room ~ probably not included to entice usage of the restaurant. Bathroom is small with only a single sink and shower with only half enclosure ~ requiring careful use so as not to make a mess with water on the floor. Had an issue with the coffee maker ~ dirty and funky smelling from leftover residue inside ~ but staff replaced immediately on request. Had an issue with flies in the room as well. Not sure where they were coming from.

This property is absolutely stunning! From the grand entrance to the cozy, comfy rooms and beds. A spacious indoor pool area. I booked a regular king room and was upgraded to the suite which was so comfortable and spacious. I loved it so much my fiance booked another night for me. I am not sure why this place was not as busy as what I would’ve expected it to be especially for the price. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area and this bar far is the nicest. I ate at the restaurant which was very good! I highly recommend the Wyndham. Hands down the best. I look for are to my next relaxing getaway!

The room I was in did not have a microwave. But again, I can’t complain as the entire facility was so beautiful and spacious.

room was very nice and clean. beds were comfortable. never tried the resturant or bar, the hours of operation are very limited but the dining area and bar did look very nice.the staff was very accomdating and friendly

the shuttle to downtown was supposed to run every 30mins but anytime we put an effort into waiting it just never showed. and the one time it did it did a slow drove by leaving my sister and i to chase it but it never stopped lol so needless to say i drove downtown a few times. parking was easy to find

Closes proximity to everything yet far enough away. Hotel itself we love. We have stayed here about 10 times in the last 2 years. Chelsea in the bar area is why we keep coming back. We love her.

We cycle. Wish it were close enough to bike safely to the battlefield. The berm is not wide enough. Nothing negative to say about the hotel. We love it here.

The 1863 restaurant is now open, serving an excellent breakfast. We were even given a voucher for one meal because we stay at the Wyndham so often. We weren't happy with our room, but the staff easily gave us a different one.

The communication between Booking.com and Wyndham is weak. Every time we book with Booking.com, we request a room with mobility access/hearing impaired. However, the last two times we arrived, Wyndham had not received that request.

Breakfast was very filling. The hotel was beautiful, clean and staff was friendly. We used the pool... the kids in it were extremely rowdy, so we went back later and we're able to have it to ourselves.

The shower was a little odd for us. It was only have glassed in, so depending where you stood or how you placed the shower head it went all over the bathroom floor.

The location was perfect as I needed to attend an event at the local college. Also, the front desk manager was very professional and helpful: went above and beyond to assist with a reservation mistake, that could’ve been more frustrating than it was.

Nothing comes to mind. My only wish was that there was a train that connected from the airport to this property - it was a 30 minute Uber ride.

Breakfast was delicious, corned beef eggs benedict was great. room was clean spacious. Decent location. friendly helpful staff.

No Ice machine on the 6th floor. the hot tub had algie on the wall near where the Handicap access point. the hottub had stained tiles that made it look as if the hot tub has not been cleaned for a period of time.

The hotel was extremely clean and in a good location. No noise or anything at all with surrounding traffic. The room was a very big size and had plenty of room for our group to not feel cramped in.

None of the rooms at this hotel for more than 4 people, we requested 6 through booking.com. But there are only max of two beds in any room. Staff told me that’s the way booking.com works sometime. We asked for a rollaway which they gave to us at no charge so that was very nice. But beware- 4 people max to a room unless you get a twin rollaway bed.

Love this hotel very upscale hotel with decor and the rooms are a generous size with very comfotable beds. Somewhat out away from downtown but very quiet area.

Breakfast was a disaster, I ordered a yogurt w/ granola & it never came. Ordered toast & my husband ordered a bagel both were presented untoasted. The help was new & inexperienced for sure. Twenty minutes passed my husband got his breakfast but not me. Said they didn’t have yogurt. Asked for the mgr And he apologized and didn’t charge us for breakfast.
