Room was clean, breakfast was a bit beyond continental, what was expected. Fresh fruit and waffle maker were nice touches, although didn't have time to sample them during a short stay. Staff was friendly, we were able to check in early with no extra charge because I did an early on-line check-in, which was helpful.

Honestly thought the price was a bit high for location, not far from town, but not walkable. My error in not realizing we would have to drive as much as we did. Staying there during the summer likely meant the price was higher than usual, but just guessing.

The staff was courteous beyond expectations. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the indoor pool. Couldn't possibly recommend this hotel more for someone who wants to enjoy Gettysburg but would like to stay outside the hustle and bustle of downtown. It is close enough in proximity that we could reach all of our desired attractions in around 10 minutes. In fact, this hotel is quite close to what we feel is Gettysburg premier museum, Beyond The Battle at the Adams County Historical Society

The door key card technology is a little finicky at first. However, the staff noticed we were having an issue and there was replacements available before we got to the front desk.

I like being able to take my pet with me. I also liked having breakfast available. But Sunday they ran out of sausage and couldn't get anymore but that was no big deal there was a Perkins right there.

Main issue about this facility in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and we've stayed there before and I've made comments before about this and nothing's been done is the pillows I don't even know how you call them pillows. They suck they're small and they're made of nothing I had to use three to support my head. Something needs to be done about this issue as we go here a lot.

Close to a mall and everything you'd need. Great value. Very comfortable bed&pillows. Liked the extra tier to the desk with the light on it. Also, staff was superb in making everything I needed go smoothly. (I added a day that didn't automatically add to the Bookings.com reservation, so they had to combine the two on site.)

Even tho I set heat on wall to 72, it always went back to 66, which was a little chilly since outside was in very low temps. The slow toilet flush scared me every time, but it only overflowed once the last morning on a 2nd clearer flush. I cleaned up the floor, so the hotel might not know there's any issue...

For what we paid, the hotel was clean, breakfast was good, staff was helpful, friendly, and nice, and the bed was comfy (which is the most important lol).

If I HAD to say something, it would be the lack of stairs. HOWEVER, it was only two floors and the stairs were actually good practice for my toddler so I'm not even really complaining for myself, but maybe others that may not be able to do stairs. The hotel was great with asking for any accommodations, so I'm sure the hotel would put anyone with issues with the stairs on the first floor.

This is the fourth or fifth time staying at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to see it appeared to be under new management. The hotel though dated was very clean. There appear to be several workers around at all times cleaning and keeping the hotel looking good. We requested a first four room because of the lack of elevators. The front desk individual honored the request and got us a room on the first floor. The room was very clean and actually smelled good when in the past it has had a musty and old smell. There were refillable dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. That was a good surprise and very welcome. The towels appeared new and very clean as well as the sheets and covers and pillows. We were very satisfied with our stay and with the courtesy and presentation of the hotel. The breakfast room was very spacious however it would be nice to have protein options added to the menu. For example hard boiled eggs and protein heavy yogurt or cottage cheese.

The hotel is outdated and the breakfast options could be improved by adding additional protein items.

This is my favorite place to stay when I travel to Gettysburg to compete my dogs. The rooms are clean, the dogs are welcomed, and the breakfast includes peanut butter in little tubs - which my dogs LOVE. I compete during the day, but we typically order carryout from one of the many local restaurants and enjoy dinner in the room. Also, there are plenty of grassy areas to walk my dogs, but beware, there are tons of rabbits out at 3AM. That's a challenge for my dog. Fortunately, the area is very well lit, so I always felt safe walking away from the hotel to avoid the rabbits.

staff was very nice . we stay at this hotel every year we come back to Gettysburg on vacation. they are always pleasant some new faces some i remember from last year. they are always accommodating and pleasant. we pick this hotel because of the clean rooms, pool and jacuzzi. mu husband has been a director for many years for a hotel where we live so he's more picky about things in a hotel and standards. I'm just happy to go on vacation . but never the less this Hotel is what we consider a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ . giving it a 5 star would mean its perfect and no hotel is perfect . not even the high end hotels. So Thank you for our stay it was as nice as it could be for us staying with you for the week.

there was not much we didnot like. I think the standards were very accommodating . if I would have to comment on a did not like i think it would have been, outside the hotel in the evening hour there were 2 young girls high school age hanging out , weather they were with parents staying at the hotel or just hanging around the hotel . this was in the evening hour . the one girl started - cat calling and I turned around and told her to grow up. she stopped , but it was rude of her to display this behavior. our hotel has outside cameras and we would not tolerate people hanging out bothering our patrons.

At first, I was concerned that my room was closest to the lobby, breakfast area and pool. BUT...those concerns were unfounded. I have traveled a lot, for business and pleasure, and my room, was the quietest room I ever stayed in. I didn't hear a peep from anything, not even the ice machine. Plus, it was clean and comfortable. I usually can find something wrong with a room, but not this one. In addition, the staff was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I did make it a little late for the free breakfast, but found that even though some items were empty or low, the staff was quick to refill, and I was able to get all the items I wanted for my breakfast. Only complaint there, was I did not see a TIP jar that the staff definitely deserves.

Breakfast was what it needed to be. There were choices. It was kept clean and stocked. There were 2 waffle machines, one made one large waffle, and the other one made 4 small waffles. I liked being able to make a small waffle and no waste or feel like i had to eat a big one. The pool and hot tub were nice. Everything was clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

The sheets for the beds and the pillows. Sheets were clean but made my skin itch and seemed scratchy. Pillows were very small.
