The location was perfect and beautiful the entrance of the hotel face the traffic circle where a big beautiful Christmas tree was placed. I traveled with my kids first time to Gettysburg Couple of restaurants and nice stores where accessible, the parking lot behind the hotel was a plus. The front desk agent Tryton was so friendly, fast to process the checking and very professional. All the staff that I interacted with was super nice always smiling and welcoming. I requested to Tryton a room with a view and a microwave and I got my request right away with not hesitation. I liked how the hotel was decorate for Christmas time so I wanted to take a family picture using my phone timer and suddenly a young man of the room service staff was walking by and stoped to do what he was doing and offered to take our family picture., that was so sweet and kind. The 2 ladies bartenders were fun and friendly. To have a fireplace inside the room was delightful. The others guests I meet in the hall, lobby or elevator were very friendly and I feel safe during all my stay. We were so welcomed during our 3 days in the hotel.

Only one thing... it would be so nice if the facing out windows glasses were clean to enjoy the view better.

The location is perfect! We love the history of the building. Starbucks is downstairs or if u prefer, there is a keurig in the room. Our King room faced the circle and had an excellent view!

I didn’t mind this but some may not expect an $18 fee for parking in the garage. But, it is well lit and we felt safe parking there and walking across the alley to the hotel.

Great location! The hotel is at the very center of town with fun shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable from the lobbies (bar/Starbucks) to the rooms. Parking was extra but safe and very easily accessible. We thought about cheaper motels outside of the town center and are glad we chose to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel instead. I also need to compliment the staff. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and the staff was friendly and waiting for us!

Location, view, cleanliness and surprisingly quiet for being at the circle on a holiday weekend! Staff members were very polite and eager to help with any requests and were informative.

Our room did not have a refrigerator and the TV doesn't allow for streaming services to be cast from a smartphone/tablet. Basic cable package with no means to rent movies/shows. We watched the Gettysburg movie and Ken Burns series on our smartphones.

Great location, decor, customer service

Having to pay for breakfast, drinking water and parking, 2nd night was higher than I thought it should be as a Hilton Honors member. Tried to go thru Hilton Honors phone number but couldn't understand the person on the other end. It's every time we call plus the price is higher than going thru other web sites not happy about that

The room was very spacious. More than enough towels were provided. The beds were exceptionally clean and comfy. Staff were all exceptional, making check in and check out an effortless and quick experience. The attached restaurant was delicious as well.

The restaurant staff for breakfast was great!

I have dietary restrictions. I was told that they could substitute one item for another; however my food came out with the food item I couldn’t have mixed in with the other. Accidents do happen but wanted to make aware for purposes of the staff learning that dietary restrictions can be serious and not always a preference.

We love staying at Hotel Gettysburg! The rooms are great, staff is amazing, and the location is superb. Beds are comfy, huge rooms, no lack of choices for places to eat that are within walking distance, and a short drive to the battlefield. We will always come back.

The location was great. We were within walking distance of most of the shopping/tours etc. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The check in/out process was easy.

The parking was expensive (though worth it), and the lack of mini fridge in the room was a bummer.

The room was spacious and comfortable; temperature was just right (I didn't have to adjust anything). Had a drink and supper in the bar--both excellent. Breakfast was superb, both in quality and quantity, and the staff was very attentive.
