Classic roadside motel vibe but recently renovated. We had no issues with the condition of the room, beds were very comfortable. As parents of young children we appreciated having our car right next to the room. Heating unit worked great which was important due to the very cold weather. The location is excellent, right on the main drag in Hershey with several good Asian restaurants nearby.

Checking in took a while since they seem to be understaffed during the winter. I found the bathroom a little cramped by 2020s standards, which really just indicates the age of the property, not the management's fault. One notable issue though, there is no separate control for the bathroom light and fan; you can only have both or neither at the same time. This is a problem during the winter when you obviously need light in the shower, but don't want cold air blasting into the bathroom.

The motel had recently been given a little face-lift, had new (beautiful!) bedspreads, and fresh paint. The bathroom was modest, but super clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. It was so quiet and calm, and the staff member at the desk was there when we checked in and there when we checked out! She was friendly and professional and so welcoming. I believe she was the owner, but I'm not sure. For what we paid for one night for four people we more than got our money's worth. A quaint and pleasant motel!

The only improvement I could think of was perhaps new or more pillows in the room. That's it!

This motel was much nicer than anticipated for the price. We were looking for an inexpensive option near Hershey Park with a pool and this motel worked out just great. The rooms were clean and large enough for a couple of people. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was cute.

The only thing I can say that might be a negative was that the man working the desk could not give us recommendations for dinner, but we found a GREAT Indian place just up the road and were happy.

Sweet little retro hotel that was absolutely squeaky clean. Windows opened. Near attractions and reasonably priced. Parking right outside your room. Very welcoming.

Despite the 35 mph speed limit, cars, big trucks and loud motorcycles roared past constantly on the Saturday we were there. Not the fault of the motel, but it is right by the road and there were no patrols slowing traffic or monitoring the muffler-free fast cars. Water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

The room was well-outfitted with a microwave, fridge, coffee-maker, desk & large mirror. The bathroom & shower were a good size, and there was plenty of hot water & towels. The bed was comfy, although it was mounted on a metal platform that boomed every time one of us ran into it with the toe of our shoe. We got used to trying to be careful about avoiding contact with it.

For the most part, the room was clean, but there were a few stray hairs in the corners of the bathroom.

The staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well kept. The pool was clean and appeared to be well cared for and the area around the property was quiet even being on a main roadway.

The only thing I would have preferred was the room air conditioning was not as effective as I would like, but visiting friends in their room showed it was likely our room unit only.

Clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced, and good location. We got exactly what was advertised and shown in pictures on the app. We didn't go in the pool, but it looked nice. Would definately stay again

No breakfast, but we knew that going in. Great food options nearby to make up for it. Still worth it for what we got. Only actual complaint, is under the bed is metal, causing a loud bang every time it was accidentally kicked or rolled over too much

We had a great stay at the White Rose. Rooms were really clean and the lady that runs it was very nice, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed an entire day poolside. We drank coffee and had breakfast on the benches outside our room each day. We were very pleased with the value of our stay and will definitely return.

Everything was great!

The location is fantastic. A short drive from Hershey attractions. And the room was large and very clean. In the future I will return to this place in lieu of booking with a chain hotel.

It is a small operation, so no breakfast. But this is disclosed before making reservations. Plan accordingly. We checked out about 20 minutes late and was not an issue. I appreciate this as I have stayed at other places that prey on this with fines/fees.

The room was exceptionally clean and remodeled with up to date appliances and furniture! Exceeded my expectations for sure! Also, I would book again JUST FOR THE SHOWER!! The water pressure and HOT temperature were amazing!! Thumbs up!!

The pool was closed already for the season :( There was an odd smell in the room when we arrived. May have been the type of cleaning solutions used? Either way it was definitely not bad, just odd.
