We selected this hotel because it's so close to Longwood Gardens! I would recommend the king bed suite which offered a bedroom as well as living room with a sofa bed, desk- it gave us more space and we had friends stop by and it was nice to be able to sit down and visit without sitting on a bed. Both bedroom and living room had huge flatscreen tvs with great reception. Every employee was helpful throughout our stay. we stayed in December and the hotel and breakfast area were beautifully decorated for the holidays.

We will definitely return to Fairfield but I highly suggest booking a room in the front of building as we overlooked a highway right behind the hotel - noise of trucks could be heard all night! We were wondering why there were pkg of earplugs on the nightstands- now we know!

We had king suite, and the layout was very nice, plenty of room, and the microwave and mini fridge were perfect. It was also nice to have a small bottle of water each day. The long counter in the bathroom was so helpful, plenty of room layout make-up, toiletries etc. There was plenty of variety for breakfast and the staff kept things stocked and the tables clean.

The pillows weren't very comfortable. I didn't walk away hungry, there was plenty to choose from, but I did miss not having muffins/pastries at breakfast.

the front desk staff was always pleasant and helpful. The room itself was comfortable and quiet (important!) and the bed was comfortable as well. We didn't really use any of the facilities, but the overall look of the hotel was clean and modern.

We did a TON of walking each day and stayed up late, so missed breakfast both mornings. Would be nice if breakfast went until 10, perhaps. We were still able to grab a yogurt to go, though.

The breakfast changed every day while we stayed so that was nice. The breakfast was a full meal with eggs and meat so that was appreciated. The Waffle Station was also a nice feature.

I wish there were potatoes such as hash browns or Tater Tots on the menu. The only coffee available was BOLD which was way too strong. The breakfast area is small and gets overwhelmed quickly so we ended up going early in the morning.

The location is easily accessible, but the hotel is a bit tucked back from the main road, so it is possible to miss the turn. It is convenient to Longwood Gardens and other sites in the Brandywine Valley, and it's a quick drive to the center of Kennett Square.

Breakfast was fine, but there were only three hot food items. They don't have much counterspace to work with, though, so I think they're doing the best they can. At least they had yoghurt flavors other than strawberry-banana!

The breakfast was in a good place except it was a little tight to get around, I would have liked to have eggs which just didn't have I didn't like the spicy potatoes but everything else of the breakfast was good!

Every aspect of our stay was excellent and to our expectation people were kind and polite, The whole place was great inside, as well as our room!

Stayed here 1 night. Convenient location to Longwood Gardens. Very clean, nice room and was a good size. The bed was very comfortable. AC worked great. Quiet location. Breakfast was ok.

The pool was closed! That was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Disappointed.

Good breakfast, comfortable room, and great location

Unfortunately a storm hit and we were without power for a large part of the stay. Not the hotels fault but there were several emergency lights that did not work and made getting around inside difficult.

The closeness to longwood garden. The coffee & tea bar in the lobby being available 24 hours. The exterior lighting on the property.

The breakfast staff was friendly and courteous. The tables were clean. The selection of food was good. The hot food selection could be better. The staff was friendly and courteous.

New, comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom, blackout shades which worked!, free breakfast , nice staff

The ONLY negative thing was the icy cold auto heating of the main spaces- halls, dining room, lobby. Freezingly cold setting and uncomfortable . Staff said they couldn’t change it as it was set by auto thermostat I suppose
