The Staff is INCREDIBLE!!! EVERY single person I interacted with during my stay, was extremely courteous and professional. Especially the front desk staff. This hotel has INCREDIBLE customer service. I’ve stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn as well. Other than the elevated price, I would stay at this hotel every time I visit and recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

I stayed during move in week and the renovations. So the price was extraordinary and because of the renovations we had to do extra walking from the parking lot with our bags and to our rooms with only one set of elevators working. But other than that, it’s a great hotel. I’m going to try to stay there again when I visit my daughter. As long as the price isn’t ridiculous again.

Love the updated rooms and cleanliness. Location to campus can't be beat.

We were disappointed to find the hot tub has been filled in with concrete. Beds were hard and not terribly comfortable. There was a lot of noise in the hallway outside of our room last night between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Also noteworthy is there are no microwaves in the rooms and the mini fridge was the smallest I've ever encountered. Can't fit much in there so be prepared when ordering/buying food. It's more of a beverage fridge.

The hotel room & front desk/housekeeping were very nice & attentive. Free parking & wifi a bonus.

The Garden breakfast buffet could have had a better & greater selection of food option. The Saturday morning we showed up at 9:45am and we're told by the hostess that the wait staff was a bit overwhelmed & it would be like a 15-20 min wait. The couple ahead of us, and my 3 person family echoed that we were all getting the buffet so there would be minimal if anything for waitstaff to do. The restaurant had at that moment 6 tables already eating. They had 2 wait staff & a table cleaner, in addition to what appeared to be 2 hostesses. The couple ended up walking out.

The food for lunch and dinner was very good however we expected a more diverse dinner menu when we sat for dinner. Breakfast was delicious. The staff in both restaurants were very friendly.

The bathroom lighting was more suited for a spa. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror it was very dark. If the light circling the mirror was brighter that would have been much better. I thought it was on a dimmer....I was wrong.

N/a.. no breakfast. The hotel is very nice; warm fire was roaring in the lobby. The shuttle driver was very nice to drive me to the airport so I could rent a car. The restaurant was handy, food was very good for an early dinner and watching football. Restaurant staff was very nice. They have a cute little gift shop with Penn State gear and snacks. The room was basic but warm and clean. Hotel was quiet. The pool is very nice; I did not use the exercise room. I out dstay here again, just know that the airport shuttle doesn’t leave until 7:00 am.

The reason I booked this hotel was because they advertise an airport shuttle.. come to find out they don’t start the shuttle until 7:00 am.. so since I was leaving for the airport at 4:00am there was no way to get there.. so I ended up going to the airport and renting a car for the night so I could get to the airport. This was very disappointing.

I wasn’t able to have a late check out- I was surprised since I never ask. It was because my son had to stay outside in my car while we were at a Penn State sorority event(he was last minute to surprise his sister). Not a big deal, but even an hour extra would have made a difference. The lobby was filled with people, so he stayed in a cold car. Last- the hotel is hard to navigate, I’m in Architecture & still got lost! Need softer pillows- honestly, my husband said his neck killed. I brought my own pillow so I was great!

Great location close to highway and a few miles from campus, lovely big fireplace in lobby, well laid out reasonably spacious room, very nice bed linens and comfortable bed! The gym and pool were decent. I like that there is a restaurant right there on property although I did not try it. Price was great (Easter weekend)

The carpets and ceilings could use some updating (a little grungy but not too bad) other than that the room was perfect. Nothing fancy but a good value overall. It would have been nice if front desk mentioned the restaurant, as I didn’t know it was there on the property . (Not visible from front)

Loved the size of counter in bathroom. It allowed for the two of us to get ready at the same time. The staff was very accommodating when I went to report that the ventilation system in our room was not working properly. Initially they said they would send maintenance up right away. But since it was almost 10pm and had just checked in. We were tired. And when asked if we could have a different room, they quickly our room without any hassle,

Ice machine on our floor didn’t work. Not a huge deal…..just went to the next floor

The location was perfect. We went to a concert at the Bryce Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State University the hotel shuttle delivered us right to the door. I can’t say enough about our shuttle driver, Charlie. He was informative and concerned about the well being of everyone on the shuttle. The room was clean and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was on point.

While the room had everything we needed, it was a little run down looking.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was a courtesy van to take you into and from State College. I liked the outside facilities as well to sit and enjoy nature.

It was very expensive to stay for one night. The rooms need to be updated. They were very clean but they were outdated. The channel selection for TV seemed to be over the air channels only.
