The room is good size, clean and updated. The free breakfast is good too. What impressed me most is the staff, very helpful and accommodating. The first room I received had a malfunctioning AC system and a funny smell. I raised the issue to the front desk and was immediately assigned to another room.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. The only thing I wish to see improving is that they can provide more information about the hotel, like the location and time of breakfast (I discovered it by accident) etc.

We arrived an hour early but that was no problem, they had a room for us. It was clean on our floor and the room was clean and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing, very comfy! It was very close to our venue for the show. Parking was great. Staff very courteous and friendly. Nice little breakfast.

The first floor had a very musty odor but our room was 2nd floor and was fine. Don't like those low toilets, a little difficult to maneuver with bad back and knees. Otherwise it was great.

The staff ( namely Ann Kerr) was very personable, pleasant, professional and exceptionally helpful! I was kind of hesitant leading up to my arrival after reading a few questionable reviews, especially concerning cleanliness. Though upon checking in I expressed my concerns with Ann and instead of just writing me off & sticking me anywhere she allowed me to check out the room beforehand to see if it was to my liking and it absolutely was! I was in town from Philadelphia and she (Ann Kerr) helped me with various suggestions along with directions, phone numbers, addresses etc etc I'll definitely be back! And recommend this facility to ALL!

Very helpful staff. Neat clean and spacious rooms. Good availability of TV channels. Ample car parking. Decent breakfast. KFC, Subway, Mexican restaurant and iHOP are just cross the street.

WIFI - very poor reception. If you are on the away from reception you don’t get the signal at all.

Breakfast is good, nice if they could do eggs once in a while. Room clean and had microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of storage for clothes. Water pressure was awesome. Lots of room outside for pet walking.

TV picture was a little dark. Would have rather had a channel line up card instead of watching the slow moving guide on the TV.

Ann the manager from state college pa was able to give us the room we needed for a recent surgery - room applicable to assist in comfort. Ann had taken the question and made sure she accommodated my concern.

During the middle of the night - I heard above my room huge bangs or something similar noises over 5 min long. Sounded like pipes bursting or shots fired. Completely scared me. I called my other family members in their rooms so I moved myself to their room for an hour. It sounds woke me up from sleep. Honestly sounded like gun shots above me , Scared the he’ll out of me. Sad I had to move to another room for a time during the night. Oh. I called the front desk - he said he would check it out. That was a positive and didn’t ignore my concern.

I would stay at this property many times whenever I needed a place to stay before accepting a new lease in town. It’s a perfect deal if you are looking for something either short or long term and affordable among other economy hotels around the area! All the staff from front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance is super nice, friendly and helpful. Despite it’s a budget type accommodation, rooms are clean and spacious! Last but not least, the location around the South Atherton street though not in the downtown is ideal given the proximity to the Giant right next door along with the Beer, Wine and Liquor stores, the CVS, bank and a few eateries.

Relatively comfortable.

Could not get the AC fan to work properly and the room was full of dead air. Also the "breakfast" was a sad joke, especially with the $500/night rate being gouged.

I stayed here on two separate occasions (and will be staying more). Super 8’s are hit or miss. Some aren’t very nice, but this one is great. Clean and comfortable. I like the little night light action by the sink. Helps to see when you get up to pee in the night. Staff is friendly and it’s in a great location for my purposes.

The wi-fi was not good. I’m trying to watch a video, and it kept popping up saying I was offline. Then a few seconds later, it would say I was online again. The week before it was better, so who knows?

Breakfast was basic, but it was free It was a decent place. We only needed a place to sleep for the night so it surved the purpose. I would stay there again if needed. Good place for those visiting Penn State
