Loved that the property allowed early check in - very accommodating - bathroom was large and updated - loved the mini fridge - loved that our room was just given new mattress and new sheets, pool and golf course and trails were beautiful

Room that we ended up getting was very clean but outdated - wallpaper was buckling on walls (didn’t affect us for our stay and we are still rating BEST) facility

The comfort of the place. Pure peace my balcony room was amazing slept with the door on the porch wide open and woke up to a bird sing the beauty of the new day. The weekend front desk lady was so nice, polite, and professional in the morning. She only works on the weekends there. I talked to her for a few minutes. She was great and helped make my day feel bright. The room was a clean, safe, family-friendly. In nice spot where it's peaceful great serene location.

The coffee that was supplied in ur room sucks balls. But the coffee down by front desk fire. Morning lady makes a great strong cup. In room sucks.

Restaurant is nice and one of my faves. Food is always excellent. The staff are ALL great, helpful and very pleasant. The front desk - lady and student from PSU are very professional and accommodating. Its a shame I don't remember their names.....I know when I was there.argh. Thank you ALL!!! I will be back for sure for the 3rd time and more.

What is not to like? Simple, nice and homey and great service and food.

The location can't be beat, the staff members were all very friendly, the room was fairly spacious, and the on-site restaurant is decent.

The room could have been cleaner. The bathroom had some stray hairs on the floor and the shower had some mold and mildew present that could easily be tackled with some bleach spray. We also had to request an extra bath towel as the room only had 3 sets of towels ready despite the reservation being for 4 people.

Beautiful grounds, nice facilities, comfortable king size bed and furniture. Excellent omelet at the restaurant, good coffee in the lobby. All the staff we met were very friendly.

Confusion about the room reservation. Card key was difficult to use, chain lock installed incorrectly and the exterior doors were not locked at night. No elevators, multiple stairwells and split level hallways would be difficult for some guests.

Close to Penn State. Quiet and gorgeous location. Nice green and has all amenities needed for playing golf. Our room was quiet - clean- and no smells or old odors like some of the reviews stated. It’s older but I found that to be very quaint. The restaurant was out of this world. Great quality food. Nice folks at desk: we enjoyed it and will use this for all our Penn state visits to see our son.

Nothing I didn’t like

We had lunch at the restaurant. It was exactly what we were looking for. It had a variety of healthy and hearty options. The weather was beautiful so we sat on the patio overlooking the putting green and course. Our waitress Jodi was exceptional. Salad delish! Free parking.

It was perfect for a summer weekend getaway!

We stayed one night and found the room to be clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the restaurant for dinner, amazing burgers, good drinks and great service. Breakfast was good too.

I'm not picky, especially when it comes to an overnight trip so everything was fine - the place was probably a nicer resort in its heyday, but it's perfect for a short trip in State College.

I picked the hotel because it was among the cheapest options in the area for a night stay The room was quite large and good for a night Free parking was available About 15 minutes drive from Penn State University

The term golf resort is a bit misleading. Practically my experience of stay was more comparable to a Motel No breakfast / coffee or other services were available during my stay

I stay here every time that I travel to State College after staying at other locations for years. I am very happy with this property, the amenities, and you will not find a better stay for the price. The staff has always been great. The rooms are consistent. One of the best restaurants in the area is located on property.

It can get a bit noisy when wedding Parties are booked in the Hotel. Parking can be a bit cramped when restaurant goers arrive for Dinner. Like I said, one of the best food experiences in state college.
