I like this motel’s proximity to downtown State College. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. I especially liked the breakfast nook in the room, which is a small metal door, both inside and outside, that allows staff to drop off your continental breakfast. Speaking of staff, they are top-notch - very professional and friendly, which I appreciated. If a guest enjoys various types of beer, they’d probably like the beer shop in the motel’s office.

I can’t think of much that I didn’t like. Maybe I would say some small issues with aesthetics in the room. But because the property appears to be older, I think that’s to be expected. And it didn’t detract from my stay. 

The breakfast delivery was cute touch. Room was clean, although decor was nice but not cohesive. Colonial mirror with 1980s wallpaper banner and mauve laminate counter top combined with lime-ish paint on opposing wall that match the new curtains, lamps, bedframes, and modern pictures on the walls. Why they didn't rip off that wallpaper border when they updated the rest, idk. It was very clean. Had a small fridge and microwave. Loved that! Plenty of space on the counter top that was a table/desk/storage. Always hot water. There's a farmer's market across the road. Definitely would stay again.

The price was unbeatable.. the bottleshop/ office was a nice touch.. its modesty accommodations but clean and comfortable for motel standard.. the thing that set this apart from any other motel ive stayed as was the breakfast " in bed" delivered to your room via a little cubby in the wall... most times I dont utilize the breakfast because it ends just as I am packing and getting ready this was amazing to hear a little knock and get a small starter breakfast without having to leave my room.. would stay again for sure!

location was a little away from the downtown it seemed.

I was looking for a place to stay for a night. This was the cheapest I could find and it was NOT bad at all. Super clean, quiet, comfortable. Breakfast is delivered to you in a box that connects to your room, you don't have to wait up for it. I would definitely stay at Nittany Motel again. Very friendly staff, 8 min from Penn State University, 3 min from Haymarket, Park 10 from Walmart, restaurants and other places... I give them 10/10

I would have liked the place to have a mini market so we could shop when we got hungry.

We were looking for the most bang for our buck. We were picking up our new puppy and wanted to pay the least amount of money for a clean, comfortable place to sleep. The Nittany Budget Motel lived up to it's name. Don't be alarmed when you find the "office" in the Bottle Shop, the young lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. Our room was only $80.00, it was clean, the bathroom was clean...none of the bells and whistles which we did not need. There were plenty of places to charge our phones and it had free WiFi, Complementary breakfast was our choice of a breakfast muffin and choice of beverage, which was placed in a "drop box" in the room at the time we chose. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

The heating unit did kind of sound like we were at the beach but the most important thing, it worked and kept us warm!

Room was more spacious than I expected. Furnishings were simple but convenient. They gave us a breakfast snack, unexpected at this price. It was a terrific value -- so good that we were worried when we arrived, and saw the somewhat cheesy entrance. The staff guy was good. Car is needed to get to most attractions, but < 10 minutes.

It was wonderful and very reasonably priced. The bed & all 5 pillows were very comfortable. The pillows were very well protected from smells too.

Our sink filled up very quickly and drained very slowly plus the aerator was a bit corroded so water kept spraying out of it. Also the room smelled like previous smokers had been in there.

It was easy to get to, the staff was friendly and helpful, had plenty of parking, the bed was comfortable and the room was large. There was a desk, fridge and microwave.

The property was old but for the price, I expected it.

The bed is really comfortable, the AC unit was powerful and quiet. Not noisy at all. The beer store open to 2am was A++. They deliver breakfast to each room in the morning; it's simple but it's a nice plus. There was an issue with the booking but booking.com and the property worked it out pretty quickly.

Clean rooms and very pleasant staff. Nice hotel for a cheap clean place to stay. Close to Penn State and easy to get around. Great restaurant next store. (Gigi’s)

I was put into a handicapped accessible room which wasn’t convenient for me. I even asked if it was a mistake for me to be placed in it, and they said no.
