We especially liked the weekend 6 am serve time as we had to leave early both mornings. There was a variety of food choices & a lot of fresh fruit offered.

The staff was great. Everyone we met was friendly, professional, accommodating and our room was clean. The only negative is that the hotel looks old and in need of a serious updating.

Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and the warm chocolate chip cookies around 4:00 pm were a great touch!

It was very warm in the breakfast area- not sure if the AC wasn’t working well, or if it was just because the buffet area was making the rest of the space hot. But besides that, there was a nice variety of food to choose from!

Nice room, comfortable bed, fairly good shower. Nice pool. Everything was clean. Wi-fi worked well. Nice staff.

The breakfast was bad, didn’t taste good. Publicity said it was in walking distance of campus but it was over 1-1/2 miles with no sidewalk. No drawers for clothes in the room. Room needs more plug outlets.

Hampton Inn is my place to stay when I visit or pick up my granddaughter at Penn State. After 5-6 stays now it's always great.

I don't like the fact that when Penn State goes on break or comes back from break the rates are obscenely increased! Also around sporting events! It's downright unfair and takes advantage of the "normal" traveler. On one occasion it made me make the 3 1/2 hrs one way trip all in one day. I'm in my late 60's and all that time in a car is uncomfortable. It's unreasonable that 1 night in the hotel could be $120.00 and the next night It's $280.00 or higher!

The location was on point. The room was clearly cleaned with no odors. The breakfast had enough variety and the staff were friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Breakfast did run out and it wasn't replenished. We did come down towards the end so that could have something to do with that. Other than that, I have no other negative feedback.

Not much breakfast. When we arrived for breakfast at 7:30 am, choice of 3 muffins or cereal or waffles. Melissa was still baking French toast and bacon which was literally for maybe 8 people when the seating area was completely full including the lobby. Both regular coffee pots were taken away at the same time. went to ask when there would be more bacon and French toast and was told 10 minutes. We had a tour at Penn State and was not able to stay. Melissa was emptying boxes instead of refilling utensils, napkins, coffee and food items.

Good choice of breakfast items. It had variety of items. Fresh and healthy breakfast. Good for all age groups. It had fruit juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bread, bagel, muffins, waffles, fruits, cereals........ My family enjoyed it.

Spacious and clean rooms. Good fitness facility and pool. Convenient location. Friendly staff and service. My family prefers to stay in Hampton Inn during our trips.

Check-in was quick. Loved the shower settings. The breakfast was well stocked, scrambled eggs were made just right and the bread was fresh.

The bed was a little firmer than I care for. Very pleased with everything else.

Everything was very very clean and our show dogs were welcomed with open arms! Perfect accomodations. Absolutely lovely, very large, clean, manicured, grassy area with lots of beautiful trees for our dogs to walk and take potty breaks. The staff are excellent. We had to charge rooms twice because the tv didn't work in the first room and the second was 2 queen beds instead of a king. But the staff (especially front desk) was very accommodating. Housekeeping helped find different soap for us.

Breakfast was absolutely awful. Inedible eggs, there was a bone in the turkey sausage and tiny tasteless muffins. Housekeeping did an ok job but there was some trash left on the dresser.
