This hotel was perfect for our quick overnight visit before Penn State's admitted students day. Beds were comfortable, and breakfast was really delicious! (Coffee was fresh ground for each cup, even, which I appreciated!) Aaron was lovely upon our arrival and offered all kinds of tips for making the visit easier and getting around faster. Great place! Every hotel in the area had hiked up their prices because it was such a busy weekend--this one was high but not as bad as the others, and great quality.

Nice breakfast food was warm, many varieties to choose from. Loved the coffee machine. Our refrigerator was not working. I informed the front desk. Almost immediately a maintenance man came to the door. Nice young man, checked it out and replaced it within 5 minutes. Excellent service

Everything was great

I loved everything about my stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast offering was great with eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, fruit, a wide selection of pastries and bagels, and a pancake machine.

Layout, breakfast spread, courteous staff, proactive housekeeping, retail outlets close by, airport not far, great Costa coffee - freshly ground and brewed!

They was so nice the breakfast was good the beds was so comfortable. And the room was so clean and very very nice and I was able to pick the 1st floor to be on .

Nothing everything was so great

The Lobby area, the staff, the comfortable bed and bedding, the window drapery, the soap and shampoo dispenser and the continental breakfast

The eating area tables were not cleaned (no staff around to wipe down the tables, At 8:00am no staff around to replenish the breakfast, the cleaning of the room was not at its best. The bathroom (toilet had stains, mirror not wiped down, floor not swept (hair everywhere) was not cleaned; a dead bug in the closet; the sheets on the bed were not placed on the mattresses correctly (definitely a rush job); the window seal was dirty. Once I saw the dead bug I did not feel comfortable sitting in the chairs.

The staff at front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

The pull out sofa mattress was extremely worn out and you could feel the springs. A mattress topper should be available to help with this issue. The breakfast should be extended an additional hour on a Sunday morning due to Saturday evening activities.

Cleaness, space in room and bathroom

Cleaning lady one in particular was too anxious for us to leave the room, the price is expensive for what it is, breakfst is all carbs

Modern, clean, comfortable

My only mistake was not looking carefully at how far off I-80 this place is. Heading east from Ohio, once I exited the Interstate I spent 1/2 hour getting there.

We checked out of one hotel and found this room at Holiday Inn Express. It was clean, clean carpet, clean bathroom, bright - everything we wanted for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.
