We were looking for a budget.place to stay in Clemson and the Comfort Inn exceeded expectations. Our room was well set up, with TONS of electrical outlets conveniently placed everywhere. Microwave and small fridge, coffee maker were convenient. The included breakfast was better than expected. Hotel is very convenient to restaurants, a big Publix, and the rest of Clemson.

Only one washer and dryer for the entire complex, and the dryer has no heat! Full dry cycle on Normal with a moderate load, and clothes still damp at the end.

Lori at the front desk was exceptional! She helped with many questions i had before booking the room (pet friendly room info and cash payment info). she went above and beyond to make sure my family got the room we were looking for and was very compassionate of the circumstances of our stay (flood area evacuation).

nothing. everything/everyone was great! power went out around 630/7am. staff still had the breakfast bar ready even without power. morning staff was overwhelmed with the power outage, customers trying to check out ect. but were still beyond nice and helpful during the hectic time. i don’t have one negative thing to say about our stay.

The property was clean, close to campus, and breakfast was good

The price was ridiculous and the price dropped more than half before my stay. I tried to price match on booking but I attempted several times I called and sent screenshots of my price match from bookings website and no one at booking would approve my match. This is very upsetting because I use booking frequently.

The treats and coffee/lemon water were welcome after a day of traveling. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast exceeded expectations. We were staying during a non-busy week for Clemson and it was quiet. They let us check in 50 minutes early and check out was as simple as dropping the room keys in a bucket. The staff members were pleasant.

Check-in didn't go smoothly since I booked through a 3rd party. Instructions from Booking.com were not clear to the receptionist and a phone call from me to Booking and then from Booking to the hotel was necessary. By the time we got to our room we were rushed to dress for an event.

Easy reservation process, great price for location, nice sized room, comfy beds, clean, breakfast met expectations. Great check in time and good check out time. Plenty of close parking. Pleasant and competent staff.

First room we checked into had not been cleaned, but staff quickly rectified - found clean room- and was very pleasant about this. Also, wish that toilet had a lid that could be lowered before you flush. Would be much more sanitary.

General appearance and comfortable room

Staff at check-in was terrible. About 6 pm, no one at desk, rang bell twice, called out twice to see if someone was in the back room. When someone finally walked back in, they were on the phone and continued to chat for easily a minute before hanging up, then called a room to check on a status and then turned and looked at me with no friendly greeting. Unacceptable.

The breakfast was great. Waffles, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, juice, milk, yogurt...probably more options that I am forgetting.

My only complaint was I requested ground floor and the request was ignored. It was not a big deal to be on the 2nd floor, but usually the hotel will at least mention they were or were not able to accommodate the request. This time it was just ignored entirely. But the hotel was great and we would stay here again.

Liked the layout of bedroom, sitting area and bathroom.

Would have liked bath linens changed daily. Pullout couch was a twin, not a double sized mattress. Lights were motion detected and would come on throughout the first night every time someone moved. We ended up covering them with tape and a piece of paper.

There is a beautiful outdoor pool area at this property that we did not even know about! It is clean and very nice, and has tables with umbrellas for those who don't want to swim. Breakfast was average; It did the trick but was nothing fancy, and we had the same hot breakfast items both days we were there. The beds were very comfortable!

Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Front desk staff were welcoming. We like the proximity to the stadium for Clemson football.

Breakfast choices were very slim when we came down at 9. It would be nice to have some replenishment since breakfast is until 10 on Sunday.
