This is by far our favorite Hilton property. The decor is beautiful and other than two missing light bulbs over the sink there wasn't anything to complain about. We were in town overnight for a concert at Carolina Bank Field and the location couldn't be more convenient, only a 7 minute drive. After the show we came back to the hotel and asked about local bars in the area and the front desk attendant recommended several places. However, after a quick trip to the room we came back downstairs and decided to try the hotel bar/restaurant Victor's. The first sign we had made a good choice was finding a great crowd inside. Our experience is that most hotel restaurants/bars don't get overly crowded but Victor's seems to be a local favorite. Earlier we enjoyed watching the Prom goers come in for dinner and when we arrived after the concert there was still a crowd and this was at 10:00 pm. We enjoyed excellent cocktails and delicious food. We highly recommend the brussel sprouts and Ahi Tuna Tartar and the Crab and Shrimp Bisque. The service was excellent and the bartender was friendly and engaging. We ended our stay with the breakfast buffet and I have to say the Grits should be illegal.🤣 They were the best grits I have ever had. I can't brag enough about Hotel Florence. If you find yourself in Florence, SC and you are looking for something a little different than the ordinary chain hotel experience give Hotel Florence a try. It's a gorgeous boutique hotel in a historic building in the heart of downtown Florence. Chef's kiss to Hilton Hotels for this property, you knocked it out of the park.💋💕💋💕🎉

Liked the fact that while it was a historical building, the modernization that brought it up to present day standards did not destroy the charm of being historic.

Having to park in a public parking lot was a minor nuisance, but not a deal breaker. I was glad to see each room had a stand alone HVAC system, but ours was dripping condensation on the floor. Not a big issue, I just put down the bath mat to absorb the water.

The antiquity of the building. It had the amenities of a new hotel. Great combination.

Parking I went in the restaurant for breakfast and not one offered to help me, so I left.

Staff over the top to assist with cold storage for my medication.

Not all rooms had a refrigerator, so ask for s room that has one if you need/want it.o

Friendly staff, food at restaurant

The shower floor was slippery & dangerous. The placement of the large shower head was such that my wife could not take a shower without getting her hair wet. There were nearly constant voltage fluctuations in room —- resulting in frequently flickering lights.

Charming old building, kept very well. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good location.

We arrived about 4.30 and the restaurant and bar had already closed because it was Sunday. We were disappointed but walked across the street to a food Mexican restaurant.

Very calm, despite being busy. Lovely decor, rooms clean and well supplied. Victors Bar had a great atmosphere pre dinner. Lovely wine bar next door that you can access through the hotel.

Breakfast seemed underwhelming, we didn’t stay for it because we were uninspired, but it might have been lovely!!

This place is awesome. It has restaurants walk across the street. Very quiet. Our tv did not work so they gave us a free wonderful full breakfast. All of it was worth the stay! Would stay again!

Historical feel with updates finishings. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Victor’s (restaurant on site) was great food and drinks. Luke at the bar was amazing!

Our room did not have a window- not a big deal for a short stay, but the AC unit was remote controlled and it was not responsive to the remote device- big deal, because the room ended up being much cooler than we wanted, and it was not comfortable.
