The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the busy breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of rotating hot dishes as well as cereals, yogurts, etc. Parking was easy and abundant. The room's climate control was quiet and efficient.

More fresh fruit offered at breakfast would have been nice. There were a couple of apples and oranges, I'd loved to have had some bananas, melon or berries. Despite the "No Pets in Breakfast Area" sign posted, two separate guest groups ate in the breakfast area with their dogs. I love dogs, but I don't want them in the dining area around the food at the motel! Both times, the dogs were in clear view of the desk staff and dining room staff. Why wasn't this enforced?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I had a great stay at Best Western Plus Rapid City Rushmore! The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of the city, which made driving around super easy—whether I was heading into town or exploring the surrounding area. The parking lot is huge, so no stress finding a spot. Inside, everything was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. One of the highlights for me was the amazing breakfast—they had a great variety, and I especially loved the Greek yogurt (seriously, that was a nice surprise!). There were a lot of little things that added up to a really comfortable stay. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

A couple of small suggestions for improvement: It would be great if the breakfast used ceramic dishes and stainless steel cutlery instead of disposables, to help reduce waste (though I know this is a broader issue across many U.S. hotels). The coffee could be improved—a fully automatic coffee machine (bean to cup) would make a big difference for coffee lovers.

Single use utensils, plates, etc at the breakfast is not very contemporary. you cant even get a real knife to cut an apple for brekfast. also a bit more healthy options like fruitsalad or bananas would be nice. You cannot open the window rooms and AC is pretty loud.

Clean, spacious room. Comfortable beds. Updated bathroom. This is a newer property right off I-90 for easy access for travelers. Nice dog walking area. Complimentary, bountiful breakfast. A good choice when traveling through the Rushmore/ Badlands area.

I requested a room that accommodated a dog on Booking.com and was confirmed. Upon check-in I was told that no request was made and I should have called the hotel directly. It all worked out in the end but not the smoothest check in process.

Front Desk was very nice and professional at all times. The hot breakfast was good most days better than others meaning Monday the tater tots potato's were not good they were soggy and cold. The rest of food was good. The beautiful view outside my room.

Short handed for housekeeping so if you stayed less than 4 days couldn't get serviced but I was able only because I stayed 5 days. I could ask front desk for items needed like towels, kleenex etc. Since I booked thru third party a receipt was not given of room stay. Not undetanding why that is so. Smoking by other customers outside very near the hotel, I deal with asthma.

Of all the Best Western's I've stayed at in my life, this one was the best! I was surprised to learn that the property is 5 years old. It's super clean and very well-maintained with no flaws in the rooms in which I stayed (1st and 4th nights of my visit to the Black Hills region). The front desk staff was very welcoming, helpful, and took a sincere interest in my travels... a big shout out to Latasha for going the extra mile in creating and printing out a custom restaurant recommendation guide just for me! I would definitely stay at this Best Western again.

I can't think of a single thing that I didn't like as this hotel exceeded my expectations!!!

Breakfast good, a good selection. Coffee in lobby if you want it during the day. Breakfast staff kept up with filling food. They were very friendly. Front desk very nice accommodating. Easy access to highway, gas station, restaurants. Lighting in park lit good, felt safe. Extras to buy at front desk little mini store. Clean room , clean bed, comfortable , ice and laundry close to get at. . We stay here when we come visit. We really enjoyed our stay. People guests nice. Sufficient parking for everyone. Keep up the good work.

The sheets in hotel and motel rooms are to thin for me, a personal preference. Can't say too much bad

The hotel is new and in tip-top condition. Our room was well furbished, everything was clean, and breakfast provided us with a great start to the day. We particularly appreciated the nice receptionists who were always in a great mood and ready to help us with any questions we had. The hotel is also well situated if you are mainly staying in Rapid City to explore the Black Hills and Badlands.

Nothing. Just be aware that you need to drive to the city center, but there are lots of eateries very close by the hotel (e.g. Panera, a taco place etc.)

The gym is amazing. All brand new cardio equipment and cable weights. Bottled water. Television. Enjoyed natural light from huge windows. Mirrors. Clean area. Breakfast was good, hot food and large selection. Very friendly staff.

The room had a bit of a smell to it, kind of musty. I didn’t care for that but the good outweighed the bad. The bathroom floor could have been cleaned better, around toilet and bath tub. Deeper clean. Pillows could be improved.
