Nice place , clean and well-located for us. Comfortable mattress.

Problems with heating: thermostat is downstairs, but bedrooms are upstairs. Result is a VERY warm upstairs unless kept cold downstairs. Hot air blows HARD upstairs out ceiling registers, and small bits of black soot land on bedding and clothes laid out on bed, dirtying both. Washer/dryer yet no laundry detergent. Wooden bed frame extends 4" beyond bed, and each of us had painful encounters. No plug for bathtub, (must bring your own)

This is kind of an air bnb - no desk, no staff on site. A converted 2/1.5 apartment, well stocked with household items for a comfortable stay. Quiet and private and a super value considering the downtown Austin location. All in all a nice stay and we'd use them again. Full size washer & dryer - nice (with soap pods provided)

$30 A DAY PARKING FEE - noted hidden in the fine print. They failed to identify themselves in their initial check-in text, so I ignored it as do with random spam text messages. So we got off on the wrong foot, then they wanted a lot of personal info texted to them to check in. I mean they already had my money. The place was clean but not spotless, we asked them to come back and vacuum again which they did.

Location, amenities were good. Nice apartment, very handy to wash our clothes and have things to cook. Nice courtyard area and very close to everything.

The floors were very dirty, our feet were brown before bed after walking around the house. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly, and the house got very hot. Would be better if there was some kind of smart tv instead of us having to play stuff through google chrome. The shower was a little blocked up and water built up very easily. Toilet seat in the bathroom just pops off very easily and we have to keep clicking it back in.

It was so much better than a hotel room. Although we spent most of the time at the conference it was good be in a space with living room and kitchen with a fridge.

We did have a problem with the electrical system. The upstairs bathroom and bedrooms had an electrical issue. I am happy that the customer service team with Locale were easy to connect with quickly. Although the problem could not be solved immediately they did bring in lights to help with the situation.

the Locale is close to downtown, on the other side of I-35, therefore much quieter. You have to go up 26 steep steps to reach the door. The condos are perched high! We had trouble with the key pad. Touching or not the house logo and the lock logo. Need more explanations on how to open door. Booking.com agent were very helpful.

the door code needs improvements. There were only 2 pots in the kitchen. Should have had 1-2 fry pans. Everything else was perfect.

We liked the location, which was close to downtown and yet with quite a bit of privacy in a privte entrance townhouse located in a quiet neighboorhood with dedicated parking. All necessities were there, kitchen items, laundry, etc. Very clean,

Some things were quite dated, like the frying pan with scratches, the kettle without auto-shutoff,. This is not a new place, but still useable and conveneint. The balcony at the 2nd floor is locked.

The location is just perfect: close to the center and in a very nice neighborhood. The apartment is large and cozy, there is a spacious parking lot. The host is very nice and although we didn't meet in person, everything went smoothly. I definitely recommend this apartment!

2 bedrooms and two baths was wonderful for friends traveling together. The patio was good as well for an outdoor space (although it was mostly too cold). Being walking distance to downtown was appreciated

Weird wiring on the TV in the living room was a tad distracting.

A comfortable place to stay in Austin. Our unit was very close to the road though.

The check-in is a "virtual experience". The lady on the phone asked me to send them a photo of my passport and a selfie before they would give me access details. It seemed a bit over the top. It took a few days for the safety deposit to be debited back into my account.

Great location! Quite area but you can walk to restaurants and bars was easy. Very roomy. Lots of space. Very comfortable. Lots of amenities. The bedding was nice and warm on the cold nights. Very homey! We had a wonderful time!

We were not able to adjust the thermostat. Even after messaging for help, nothing worked. Only TV was in the living room, none in the bedrooms. The light in the dining area did not turn off, and with one person sleeping downstairs, we had to unscrew the light bulbs each night.
