The setting ambiance was special...staff and food was excellent

The dumb system and COST of valet.!!! Hyatt has people implementing "safety" systems that is not client friendly..and they are so worried that the bill was paid for parking...they put a burdensome complicated system that apparently doesn't connect to the front desk system re the billing for services. ..I developed multi million dollar computer system on a global scale We had a motto Make things easy for the user... It's not for the front desk The valet personnel And MOST IMPORTANTLY THE CLIENT MAYBE THEY NEED TO RETHINK THE IMPOSITION TO ALL CONCERBED

Room was nice. All the help was nice, food was delicious.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. A bit pricy but worth it. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with plenty of amenities. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the balcony—it gave us a front-row view of everything from the river to the sparkling lights of the Austin skyline. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. City lights at night were so pretty while swimming or eating on the property. Bat viewing was right outside the door. Room was very nice and clean. Lots of modern touches.

The price was a little steep per night after the final tally. Taxes are ridiculous in Austin. Breakfast was $30.00! Luckily the city has many other good and affordable options. Parking is $52.00 and then you were taxed on that.

Room 1416, it was lake side and a incredible view of Austin city lights! We also were right next to where the bats come out from the bridge, it was a birds eye view from our room our a short pleasant walk on the inner urban trail to a perfect gound level view where the bats fly out every evening at dusk! The food was great and convenient at the bar! We had some cold beer, ordered chips salsa and steak fajitas. The chips were not worth $12 but the steak fajitas were very good! We would definitely order the fajitas again! Parking was convenient, there is some kind of buss tour pick up and drop off in the front parking lot? Anyway I think because of that the parking at the entrance was desperate pay from the hotel. Turned out that the hotel has valet parking to their parking garage, it would be a 30% more cost over not using valet parking. All and all we can't wait for our next opportunity to stay there again, we would just love if we could stay in one of the rooms with a balcony!

It was all a great experience! No complaints except for one! The bar didn't have blue moon on tap! But we managed with Michelob ultra! Lol 😂

Location, beautiful view, comfortable bed, nice pool, good breakfast.

At checking in Pablo at the reception told us, after asking him if breakfast is included or not, that breakfast is complimentary. The next morning when we went to breakfast nobody knew anything about our complimentary breakfast. After telling them what we were told at checking in we received the complimentary breakfast that day only. I went down at front desk to speak with Pablo abd he seemed annoyed about it and denied having told me that breakfast is complimentary. I read the comments on booking and my case is not the only one like this.

The room was very clean and fresh feeling. The front desk staff was very nice. Liked the Pharmacopeia toiletries in the bathroom. Was able to cast my phone to the TV screen. Good location to walk to a variety of restaurants.

The food at the restaurant was average and overpriced. The cost to park in the garage was ridiculous when you could park right outside the door for 2/3 the cost. There could have been another chair in the room other than the desk chair. Everything was good, but nothing was "OMG Wow." Unless you are there to attend "Batfest, " you may want to choose another hotel or a different date to stay. Obviously, it was no fault of the hotel, but the music outside across the bridge was so loud we could hear and feel it in our room even with the TV on.

We enjoyed the location near the river and the Congress Avenue bat bridge. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and elevators were clean. Walkable to South Congress.

The vents in the ceiling at the top of the atrium are very dirty. They appear very hard to reach, but when a guest sees that, they wonder what else might not be getting cleaned. The price was a little high, nearly $500/night for standard sized room with two beds.

Overall the property was amazing & the staff was very pleasant & attentive.

The restaurant staff seemed not to pay very good attention to orders or their customers. My husband has a tomato food allergy & we reported it to the waitress, his food was still served with tomatoes. This simple mistake could have been a serious issue if we weren’t able to see the tomatoes & he would have accidentally ate it. We also spent a lot of time waiting during our visit to be attended to. The wait staff was many times hard to locate or gathered at the bar talking amongst each other not paying attention to the surroundings when we tried to get their attention. The restaurant manager was very friendly & apologetic about the food being served wrong.

We had a City view twin Queen room, the view was fantastic We stayed in Austin for two full days which was enough to do most things, visit the capitol building, explore the city Paddle board and Kayak along the river and explore Ziker Park and Barton springs.
