Room was very quiet, clean and well equipped. Location is excellent, only a block away from convention center and walkable distance from many restaurants. The staff was very polite, they let us extend check out by 30 minutes. We traveled with a baby so they provided us with a crib.

Breakfast when booking is described as "complimentary" and although is ok if you just want to grab a bite, is very basic when travelling with family. If you want a hotel that offers continental/buffet breakfast this is not the option you want to book.

Location was excellent, as I had to attend 2025 IEEE PES General Meeting, July 27-31, 2025 at J W Marriott Hotel on the 2nd Street, at a stone's throw distance only. Breakfast has to be improved as fruits served or choices have been limited. Good quality of apple, orange/citrus fruit required in addition to banana (which I can't take being diabetic patient). Room was okay; but the slow discharge of water in the wash-hand basin. Cleaning staff, although not understanding English very well, were very cooperative and cordial.

Liking or disliking already explained enough through the response to the above-mentioned text. Yes, one more thing. Elevator management is to be improved.

The room was very nice and quite large. The TV worked great and offered a lot of stations. You never had to wait long for the elevator. The hotel was conveniently located to everything in downtown Austin. It was easy for our Uber drivers to get to.

My only complaint was that breakfast wasn't very diverse or high quality. It was good and tasted fine. Howeverm there wasn't a lot to choose from and it didn't change on a regular basis. So, staying for multiple days, the food choices for breakfast got quite boring and we went elsewhere for breakfast for two mornings.

When we arrived the very kind gentleman on reception was so friendly. He asked us what brought us from the UK to Austin and we told him we were on our honeymoon. He upgraded us to a suite for no extra cost which completely overwhelmed us. We were so shocked at his generosity. The room was AMAZING!! Hands down the best hotel we stayed at for our 2 week road trip. Cannot thank you enough for what you did for us. We really appreciated it!

Clean, water available and location was good.

We arrived 1 hour early and was unable to check in and gave a phone number to get notified when we could but received no notification. Others were checking in early. On our check out day, staff came into our room to clean the carpets. While this only took a few minutes, had they of waited 15 mins we would of checked out

It's in downtown so near places a tourist wants to visit , the breakfast is awesome. Room is large, well cleaned , you can go to the gym 24/7 which is nice.

The whole downtown is somewhat a little too crowded with homeless and/or druggies. Scary for someone who has a kid walking around and being asked to spare some change or witnessing crazy fights between people.

location: The hotel was ideally situated room: The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a good view of the city. the bed was comfortable Cleanliness: The hotel maintained impeccable cleanliness standards throughout my stay, from the lobby to the room and bathroom.

One minor drawback was that the hotel was slightly on the pricier side compared to what I expected. However, the overall quality and experience justified the cost, so it wasn't a major issue.

The food, location and room are good.

This property has a hidden catch: a high pet fee. And parking is very expensive. It's almost the same as the room rate, so beware. Valet parking is charged at the same rate as the hotel. The hotel is fine, but if you have a car and a dog, expect to pay double the price at this property.

Location & stated price.

Just OK as far as cleanliness. They put a $100/night hold on my credit card and there is really nothing extra you would spent that on at this hotel. A free breakfast was already included. I thought the amount was excessive and it was several days before it cleared from my account.

Staff helped us with anything we needed last minute. Pool was smaller than expected but my group of friends still really enjoyed it. In and out all day until 3am and it always felt safe!! Valet staff outside very nice too, and when i didn’t feel safe i would just stand by them. Rooms very nice!

Liked everything! Deposit was pretty pricey though. But we got it back.
