The location was honestly perfect. It’s right off the highway, so super easy to get to, and there’s a ton of restaurants and stores all around. I loved that I could just walk out and grab coffee, dinner, or whatever I needed without having to drive anywhere. It made everything super convenient, especially after a long day. Definitely a great spot if you want to be close to everything. Room and hotel were clean and tidy. Staff was super friendly

We didn't have a closet in our room. But there is space to hang up a few things if need be

I love it , is quiet and relaxing . Is clean and smells good . The staff members are very polite .

Break fast area wasn’t very clean , I am a very regular costumer and is always the same situación, besides that , break fast suppose to end by 9:00am but by 8:30 or 8:40 these are nothing left not even refills , I am customer service specialist and I know for sure that no matter what , every single area specially the lunch area have to be filled up and ready for customers until it closes. When I ask for help at the front desk sometimes the person in front desk doesn’t help for being distracted on the phone ,or she is not even in her place , she is nice but just that small detail .

There is a sidewalk in front of the hotel that leads you to Cabela’s. It drops down unexpectedly. I walked there about 7:30 so somewhat dark. I fell and skinned my leg and hit my lip and chin on the curb. I am 80 and just arrived in Buda. The city or hotel should paint the drop red. I have lived in 12 states and I have never seen a sidewalk configured I the way.

The owner and the desk clerks, especially Rissa (I am bad with names) was fantastic! She told me and pointed out restaurants I should try and she was so right! She is an expert conversationalist and very wise for her young age of 24. We should all be grateful for people like her and the owner Kris who made my wait for my big truck to be repaired an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Leaving back to work

We like the location. We were all over the place, and it is between Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. It was a last-minute booking for the Labor Day weekend. We were aware that it was renovating. We did not really set a high expectation. Thus, we were not really disappointed.

It was not really bad. But would have appreciate more if the staff would smile more. Also, there was a note on our booking that they don't serve breakfast because of the ongoing renovation but we noticed some people having breakfast. It was not mentioned to us during checkin. So the website was just not updated.

I wish they would have had more choices--like real eggs and biscuits, and bacon and or sausage , and other varietiess of fruits

The hotel itself should have rooms with closets for people who stay longer than one or two days. We stayed for a week and had to live out of our suitcases. We had to buy shampoo and conditioner as well as larger bars of soap.

All the staff was very friendly. There are many places locally to shop and eat. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about our stay. My son did mention that the TV speaker was going in and out but that was the most of our issues which is nothing.

Went to breakfast area and there was hardly anything there.

When I checked in and entered my room there was trash in the trash can and an empty beer can, another thing that I did not appreciate to much was that someone was smoking and I could smell it in my room constantly. other than that everything was ok great location.

Location was great as it was far enough from the loud noises of I-35 but still close to get back on the road. Clean and comfortable room with everything necessary.

Breakfast was limited, no nutritional options, not even fruit; if carbs are your thing, you'll love what they have.
