The property is prime real estate! Everything we needed was super close very convenient! The food was good, the views of the ocean were beautiful! The property is a little older but still a great stay! Now I have an unhealthy fear of birds and it seems like they like Gaido’s just as much as we did, but overall we will definitely be back.

The parking situation was a little wild. I feel like they should section off the parking lot per what building you’re staying in. My husband and I had to park our car outside the hotel parking lot multiple times because people’s friends, and families were parking in the lot. Maybe like a parking pass that has to be put in the window.

breakfast had good selection (biscuits/gravy and waffles) for the small space. really loved the room details...the books on the shelf over the bed and the paintings, the artificial flower arrangements, the retro fridge, the dining table, bathroom sink separate from toilet, great closet with handy shelves, comfortable bed. Also the live flower boxes outside and lattice trim. really really cute and cozy. also incredible silence inside the room, with double paned windows...really a great stay.

stairs were difficult for me. the door malfunctioned when i slipped outside...it shut tightly and locked. my husband was asleep with his earplugs in and could not hear me banging on the door. thought i might have to sleep on the veranda but the man in the next room came out with his phone and called for management to help...she came right up and i was saved!

It’s clean and comfortable but not fancy. The location was fantastic. We paid a little more for the hot tub room and loved it. The free breakfast was very tasty but it was takeout. There are places to sit on the property, so you don’t have to eat in the room.

There was a very loud drunken party next door to us with extremely loud music the first night of our stay. We called the desk, and they said the couldn’t do anything until after ten. After ten they quieted down.

Location and room very comfortable. Bar entertainment was awesome.

Finding a place to park. Your parking lot is used by people who go to the ocean or other attractions. Your customers have limited parking. The cruise parking was awesome.

I love the fact the nick’s kitchen and bar was attached I love the bar and it is on the beach and u can set on the roof and look at the beach and I love the two ladies in the breakfast with the free breakfast they are super sweet and funny and friendly I had a great stay here

The birds are gangster I was in the hot tub enjoying my chicken wings and margaritas and they stole my food it was hilarious

I liked that it was close to the beach & the restaurants.

The rooms were comfortable but outdated, clean but small, & no elevator to the second floor. I have bad knees

The room was clean and adorable. AC worked great. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was great, with lots to choose from. The ladies in there were very friendly. The pool was amazing and large. Plenty of room to spread out. Every room has 2 chairs out front with a cigarette butt canister. We were in room 216, which is the room right above the lobby and the end room on one side. Loved it because no one could walk by your room unless they were coming to your room. We had our own corner.

The observation deck was closed, don't know why. Also didn't appreciate that you cannot take your own food or drink into the pool area. Nicks bar & grill is connected to the pool, so I'm sure they want you to spend money there, because their food and drinks were ok to have at the pool and they are EXPENSIVE. I bought a mango margarita and a beer and that was $22.

Room was much better than expected. It is a motel, and a pretty old one, but the room's were much nicer than expected.

The breakfast was terrible, So they had the staff, one dishing out eggs and another dishing out burritos. After dishing out about 2 tablespoons of scrambled eggs the egg server asked if I would like a sausage, egg and cheese burrito. Yes, but I received a burrito that was the size of a mouse and had no cheese and a sliver of sausage. Guido's is known for food, so I was really looking forward to a nice breakfast. I was SO disappointed. And yes, I could have gone back to get more for free, but free disappointment is not any nicer then expensive disappointment. I wanted Guido's nice, but I received much worse than MacDonald's. Oh, no bacon or Sausage was available at the buffet, Just Potatoes, Egg and Grits. What a complete letdown.

The quaintness and location

Kids from 2-17 in the Hot Tub ALL day everyday some with parents (all drinking alcohol) The kids never got out to go to bathroom so you know they were peeing all day in it. Also counted and were 20+ in hot tub at all times which was over capacity No monitoring by the staff! Not even the manager or GM after mentioning this to him. Adults could not enjoy this feature of the property!! :( Food by Nicks was only okay!

Old school motel that is working hard to be better. Room décor was interesting and wonderful. Clean. Pool looked nice but we did not use it. They let us leave our cars there for cruise duration for no extra cost. Nicks Bar and Grill was very good. Friendly, helpful people. GREAT breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Not complaining, but this is an older hotel with some imperfections. Adjust your expectations. You can't be by the sea without getting weathered.
