I love the fact the nick’s kitchen and bar was attached I love the bar and it is on the beach and u can set on the roof and look at the beach and I love the two ladies in the breakfast with the free breakfast they are super sweet and funny and friendly I had a great stay here

The birds are gangster I was in the hot tub enjoying my chicken wings and margaritas and they stole my food it was hilarious

Room was much better than expected. It is a motel, and a pretty old one, but the room's were much nicer than expected.

The breakfast was terrible, So they had the staff, one dishing out eggs and another dishing out burritos. After dishing out about 2 tablespoons of scrambled eggs the egg server asked if I would like a sausage, egg and cheese burrito. Yes, but I received a burrito that was the size of a mouse and had no cheese and a sliver of sausage. Guido's is known for food, so I was really looking forward to a nice breakfast. I was SO disappointed. And yes, I could have gone back to get more for free, but free disappointment is not any nicer then expensive disappointment. I wanted Guido's nice, but I received much worse than MacDonald's. Oh, no bacon or Sausage was available at the buffet, Just Potatoes, Egg and Grits. What a complete letdown.

The quaintness and location

Kids from 2-17 in the Hot Tub ALL day everyday some with parents (all drinking alcohol) The kids never got out to go to bathroom so you know they were peeing all day in it. Also counted and were 20+ in hot tub at all times which was over capacity No monitoring by the staff! Not even the manager or GM after mentioning this to him. Adults could not enjoy this feature of the property!! :( Food by Nicks was only okay!

Old school motel that is working hard to be better. Room décor was interesting and wonderful. Clean. Pool looked nice but we did not use it. They let us leave our cars there for cruise duration for no extra cost. Nicks Bar and Grill was very good. Friendly, helpful people. GREAT breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Not complaining, but this is an older hotel with some imperfections. Adjust your expectations. You can't be by the sea without getting weathered.

Wasn’t impressed with their free breakfast. Asked for over medium fried egg and they were not cooked properly. Yokes were broken and over cooked. Asked for extra bacon 🥓 and was told no. However “Mama Rose” (I think that was her name) gave some extra bacon. She is a very special person and I am happy that I met her. She is around 90 years old and so happy to be serving the resort’s guests.

The stairs were a real pain so I would recommend if you have issues climbing stairs book downstairs. Also I booked ocean view and being across the street on the seawall it’s very noisy when you’re sitting outside was not really relaxing. It was okay after 10:30-11:00 PM. Once inside your room it was nice and quiet.

We never tried the breakfast. We loved the pool, the restaurant, and definitely the location.

The bed was very worn and sunk down. It was not comfortable at all! We stayed for 4 nights and not once did housekeeping knock on our door to exchange our towels or trash. My daughter and I both asked for towels 2 different days and the lady would say, no English. We went and bought our own trash bags and we would go to the office and ask for towels. Also my grandson pulled out alot of trash from under the beds. So an upgrade on the mattresses and working with house keeping on good customer service would make a big difference.

The room was cute, clean and so comfortable especially the bed. Location to the pool and beach perfect although its says ocean view that is not correct. Ocean view blocked! Pool was fantastic and loved the atmosphere music and cleanliness.

would be a 10 if it wasn't for the breakfast. It was deplorable even if free and I would be super embarrassed given you are associated and share the name of one of the best restaurants on the island. HUGE disappointment. Biscuits and gravy - paste, waffles - cold and Tator tots only redeeming item. Nick's restaurant outside bar - on Sunday only one person working the bar and she was not friendly nor efficient. Walked over to the restaurant and had a better server and experience.

The breakfast was amazing.

Though no one has control over weather my spouse and I were very surprised there was no place to eat that wonderful food. It was about 30 degrees outside amd we were 'FAR' from the breakfast room. Besides that I knew I took second floor, therefore many steps, so carrying a plate of food and orange juice a 'LONG WAY' back to our room was very difficult for this OLD LADY! Steps alone are hard but carrying FOOD, DRINK is VERY HARD! I wish somewhere it had said we needed to take our food back to our room so we were prepared. Oh the extremely COLD WEATHER made the food cool off from the breakfast room to our room way on the opposite end. Actually in my 71+ years of life I 'NEVER' had to take breakfast back to my room. You didn't want to eat it outside in 30 degrees.

Loved all the things to do there... Gane yard, huge pool, hot tub, bar side pool. Super close walk over to beach. It was a great deal for a room. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of options and ladies in there were nice and friendly. I went on observation deck ate breakfast and watched sun rise. Beds were rather comfy also. Newly updated sheets in room which was nice.

They need to clean rooms a little better. When we got there trash was still in my trash can. The parking was a little tight for larger vehicles.. They had more parking. But I wanted my car right by my room.
