IMO Drury is simply the best hotel brand (they know quality!) & the McAllen Drury is as good as any I’ve visited. It starts with a great building design, high quality room appointments, and excellently trained staff.

Hotel access off the adjacent highway is a bit tricky, but easily manageable with attention.

It was very clean, front desk personal were very helpful. Greeted me and my family with a smile. Breakfast was amazing. The ladies that were there to make sure there was food and also greeted me and my family with a good morning, how are you and a smile.

The location

When we arrive I did not find the card I used to make the reservation, the front desk attendant told me I can not use other payment method and it was 5 minutes before the check in time and he did not want to start with my check in process because "it wasn't time", and I have to wait to be attended, but then, I went to my car to pick up my ID and when I came back less than a minute after, he was making check in to other family that arrived after me.... That was not big deal but I was supprised with the difference on the attitude between one customer to other.

It is a really great hotel. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Soda machine was broken and I couldn´t get the drink I wanted at breakfast. Also, when we checked in, even though the staff was not rude, they weren´t nice.

I’ve been staying in Drury hotels my whole life, now as a mom and married is always a nostalgic and great experience.

It would be great to have a little variety in the breakfast menu and maybe music in the restaurant area to male the experience more fun

The room is very adequate for a complete family. The beds are just too comfortable.

The bed is so comfy that we didn't hear an alarm in the hallway and the subsequent blackout that lasted for some time. We just dreamt all the way through the emergency

I liked it was close to the stores and that they offered breakfast and snacks in the afternoon.

I would recomend to add flour Tortillas and beans in the morning for breakfast so people can make tacos and some salsa.

Being close to the expressway caused us to hear cars traveling on the expressway during the night until late.

Website needs better clarification in the difference between regular queen and deluxe queen. Both had microwaves and refrigerators so couldn't tell the difference between the two.

Love the balcony option spacious rooms easy check in loved it all !!!

The food and drinks option close to restaurants and heb and shopping

Like the staff. Like the two meals provided through out our stay. It is very convenient when you have a child who isn’t feeling well and wants to go to Drury Inn to feel better. The all day access to coffee is a major plus for me,the parent.
