The setting was beautiful, our room/suite had a deck with a lovely view of the hillside and trees behind the lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The great room was lovely, and was a great place to meet and chat with world wide travelers.Tho the rooms were small (we had a "suite"), we didn't spend much time in them. Would be fine for 2 adults, but there were 3 of us.If we wanted to sit and talk, we went to the "great room."

The extra bed in the suite was very uncomfortable, at least for an adult. It had a funky design and the was hard as a rock in odd places. The staff tried to make it more comfortable with extra blanket padding, but it needs to be replaced with a futon or something else. It's in a small space, but there must be better options. Main bed (Q size) was fine.

Communication is a key and it was very good. The property management sent me a message a day before check-in, that there was a mistake in system and the room I booked is not available - as there was a wedding party that weekend. They offered me a change to different property, 15 minutes from the one I booked. Absolutely fine for me, as we were looking only for one night in a room with shower on our trip through several national parks - arriving late, departing early. The property we got was on ranch, just our house ... we were there really alone, in the middle of nice nature, middle of ranch. Excellent experience, much better than we expected. From "just a room anywhere in that area to sleep one night" we got a "fantastic place to stay in a solitude house in nice nature". Clean room with fridge, coffee maker and microwave, nice bed, we slept very well. Although it is located far away from village and other houses, internet was working well, fast. I can only recommend this property and management, if we will in future repeat road-trip in that area, I will book this place.

All was fine there.

The room was cozy, with lots of extra quilts, and the bathroom was very clean. We would stay here again.

The heaters were a bit tricky and there are no staff around (except in very restricted hours) to ask for help. It was very cold and we didn't have kindling/fire lighters for the stove. The first night the wall heater would go on, but not turn off and wasn't emitting any heat, just weird purple lights. The remote didn't work at all and eventually we just unplugged it at the wall. The next night we plugged it in and had no problems and the heat worked in the other room, so we left it on all night with the door open.

We rented "Cabin 3" which is a 3 bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 9. It was a newer construction with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very peaceful place and SO quiet at night. We stayed there with another couple and even though there was only one bath, we managed just fine. The kitchen was new and had all the appliances you could need. The beds were comfortable and there were heaters/ac in each of the rooms. We absolutely loved the breakfast nook. BUT the best thing about this place is that there is a farm to table restaurant. AMAZING dinner both nights!!

It was A LOT of effort to get all our supplies to the upper room. Store had trouble getting ice. The room has very little supplies.

Cozy room. Superb restaurant. Easy check in. The staff was kind, especially in the restaurant. Really loved the food at the restaurant. The location was excellent.

It was Thanksgiving weekend so I understand why but the hotel staff was MIA.

We had a nice, comfortable room with a water dispenser, microwave and coffee maker. It was very quiet at night and we liked it a lot.

It was a bit outside of town on a ranch, about a 20 minute drive from the Boulder mountain guest ranch/ Sweetwater Kitchen.

Wonderful setting in nature. Yes, some of the rooms are very close to the restaurant, but it closes (in our estimate) at a reasonable time. Great shared lounge space for the guests. The restaurant is OUTSTANDING - the best meal we had during our travels in Utah.

Gorgeous, rustic, great facilities and fabulous dinner at the restaurant .

It is a bit of a distance from the areas we were hiking but worth it in the long run.

Brilliant place in the middle of nowhere which was nicely located between Bryce Canyon and Moab. Also hosted a restaurant on site which was very good as well. Great communal spaces, facilities and grounds. Loved it.
