The location was perfect for visiting capital reef. Breakfast was pretty good ( which is good because there is NOTHING else around)

Room had a strange smell when we first entered, like they were trying to cover up smoke smell or something. It did get a little better once the fan was turned on. The HVAC was ancient and didn’t work all that well. The rooom was so hot even though we had the air set to the “coldest” setting and it was only 20 degrees outside. Check in took forever. Not sure why. The woman checking people in seemed very distracted by any noise or person, and didn’t seem to know what exactly was happening.

The whole place was very clean. The beds and showers comfortable. Clever use of a long bench for setting things or sitting. The rooms are ample in size and allowed us to join our traveling partner to play a game or two in the room. That a nice and dinner and breakfast option was available on site was an added bonus. Staff were all friendly.

We waited a bit for service once seated for dinner, but they were busy and our server was apologetic and very quick once we ordered. Food was very good both dinner and breakfast. The pancakes are great.

Amazingly close to Capitol Reef, easy parking right outside the room, great views of the mountains from the parking lot, steakhouse was delicious for dinner and you can’t beat not having to drive to dinner after a long day of touring! Kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub, and that had great views too! Room was spacious with lots of luggage space and dual sinks. Breakfast was standard fare but nice enough with eggs and pancakes and cereal. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Air conditioning didn’t make the room very cold even on a cool fall night. It was fine but not as cool as we would have liked even on lowest setting.

Friendly check in and given a ground floor room which saved hauling cases up stairs! The location just on the edge of Torrey is good for visits to Capital Reef NP. The on site restaurant is exccellent and staff helpfull. One unexpected bonus was to be able to split dinner - but only the protein part as for a mere $8 they provided another plate of veg and split the 14 ounce steak into two seven ouncers! The room was clean and comfortable so a good night's sleep was had after a long day's drive. Would certainly stay here again but maybe earlier in the year to try one of the wagons!

Location was very convenient for the most remote National park in Utah; Capitol Reef. The room was well decorated with a subtle cowboy theme and the beds were very comfortable after long days of hiking.

The water heater didn’t work on our second night. Breakfast did not offer many options for anyone with dietary restrictions. No water bottle filler which we would use multiple times daily elsewhere in the desert.

Located in a beautiful setting just by amazing scenery. Booked for the convenient on-site restaurant - lovely not to have to go out to eat and the food/wine was good. Pool and hot tub was nice after driving. Room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was fine for a 2 star - some fruit would be great though.

Perhaps it could be suggested to book for dinner as it was so busy with hotel and non-hotel guests? A good sign obviously. We do not mind eating later but did have a good 45 minute wait. Or we could have had a drink while waiting if offered... We asked for a quiet room and while everyone was asleep it was! However, we were obviously underneath a family room so I would recommend the second floor for quiet but then you would have to carry your cases upstairs - so a choice...

We recently stayed at this hotel and it was nearly perfect. The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing all the comfort we needed. The pool was lovely and well-maintained. The view from the window was beautiful. The room details were well thought out and very charming. The location was excellent, making it easy to reach the park and the restaurants in town.

The staff needs a bit more training. Cleanliness certainly requires more attention both in the rooms and in the breakfast area. We found hair in multiple places. This is a real pity, given the beautiful property and its convenient location.

We loved staying in the wagon accommodation! The beds were very comfortable! The wagon was fun and larger than we expected and although the bathroom was detached, it was clean, close and private. The restaurant was a great option for dinner and we enjoyed our steaks. Overall, we had a wonderful visit!

Breakfast is included and ends at 9:30 am. We ran in at 9:25 am and the staff was in the process of breaking it down. When we asked if we could get some biscuits to go, unfortunately it didn't work out. We were really disappointed, especially because it wasn't 9:30 am yet (I know it was close but not yet), it was included, and we missed it because the staff broke it down before the announced deadline. I did get some coffee for the road.

The restaurant was able to accommodate food allergies. The waitress helped determine what foods from the dinner menu to avoid regarding food allergies. The meals came out timely and were delicious.

The breakfast buffet was less than desirable. We were very disappointed, as we had such a great meal the evening before. The buffet of scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and bread looked unappealing. The scrambled eggs had water in the pan with them. There was no consideration of food allergies. There was only one employee (the cook) in the restaurant, and he was unfamiliar with food allergies.

EVERYTHING! Location perfect; just a few miles to the Capitol Reef National Park. Staff exceeded expectations for friendliness, helpfulness, service. Rooms large with comfortable bed and nice bedding. There is LVP flooring in rooms, so no dirty carpeting to deal with. Very clean. Steakhouse next door with excellent food, diverse menu, and reasonable prices.

Bathroom could use some refurbishing. Also, small laundry room we were told we could use as motel guests is actually the same one used by motel staff to launder all the towels, so limited availability.
