Very well located hotel, close to Capitol Reef. The room is spacious, the view is pleasant. The staff is kind. Housekeeping changes towels everyday even though I didn't particularly ask for it, which is nice. There is a free "Morning Coffee" at the front office: coffee or tea, hot chocolate, cereal bars and mini dannish pastries. That is enough to get you going, then I recommend getting a pie from Gifford House (opens at 9AM) inside the National Park. The Rim Rock restaurant is affordable and the food is good, service is also quick. There's also the Rim Rock Patio for pasta and pizza. One more restaurant in the Capitol Reef Resort just across, but I haven't tried it.
There was a minor issue with the bathtub leaking (droplet every few seconds). Right after shower it wasn't leaking but it would after a couple hours. It didn't disturb me really. Sometimes I could hear noise from neighbouring guests but again, not disturbing.

Spent one night here with my boyfriend Amazing location. We had cabin number 1, which I think is the best of the cabins as it only has one other cabin to one side. The views were beautiful. The only thing I would say that could be improved would be better patio furniture because the light plastic chairs blew away during a small storm. The room was very charming. Mattress was on the hard side, very firm. Furniture was a little mismatched but this added to the charm. Lots of Southwestern touches though. Coffee maker has seen better days and an upgrade to a Keurig would be a nice touch. Bathroom small but good shower pressure. The room was clean. The mini split on the wall provided good cooling Overall, we loved this cabin and we would return and a specifically as for cabin number one as well. The cabins are set a little away from the main hotel. We ate at the main restaurant the night we were there and had a lovely meal. Our waiter was Fabio, and he was very attentive. After dinner, we took our drinks out to the back patio to soak in the amazing views. It really is a very special location. We both wished that we’d had more than one night there.
The only thing that I would say that was not great was Dev(?) on the front desk. He was not at all friendly, he didn’t even welcome us to the hotel and seemed irritated that we were there. I can never understand why anyone would work on the front desk at a hotel and have that kind of an attitude. Having a background in hospitality, I have to tell you that is not a good thing to have, as the front desk person is the first person that you’ll speak to when you arrive at a new hotel and you want them to be friendly and to be glad that you’re there and that you’ve chosen your hotel for their stay. It’s a very important person in my opinion.

The location of the hotel was perfect in relation to visiting Capital Reef National Park. It is a short drive to the entrance of the park. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a "fine dining" restaurant on the premises that is only open for dinner and a "Patio" restaurant down the driveway (walking distance) for food like pizza, wings, salad, etc. We went to the Patio for dinner and ordered the pizza and chicken cutlet parmigiana sandwich. Both were good. There isn't really anything in Torrey to do other than the park. There are a few other motels, but for the most part the town is very small and there is no walking around or shopping. Just the perfect location for visiting Capital Reef National Park.

Of course, the View is Exceptional. The room was very well appointed- with fabulous colorful bedspreads. Even though we were in an isolated area, the TV reception came in Crystal Clear. We did head on over to the on-site restaurant for dinner.
When seated at the Restaurant, I noticed that the host did not ask where the guests wished to be seated (aside from the interior or the valley view). It seemed that the preference was made to the MALE and FEMALE COUPLE being escorted to the tables at the window. Yet, the same-sex guests were automatically seated at the inside tables. Nor were the multiple guests given the choice to sit at the window- even though tables could be moved to accommodate.

Great location. View was amazing. We took our good boy, german shepherd, and the rooms didn't smell like pets (if you know what I mean). There are a few trails near by that are pet friendly. The 2 restaurants on site have great food too. I don't know if they serve breakfast but the dinner from both pizza place and restaurant are great. Also amazing views from both places.

The cabin we rented was very comfortable and met our expectations. The view was phenomenal from our balcony! Very friendly staff at check-in and check-out.
The only complaint I have is that the soap dispenser was never refilled during our stay even though the staff came daily to change towels and put fresh ones out.

It is our third time here. It is closest to the Capitol Reef and best in price. Very friendly staff, quiet, super clean, rustique and simple, but full of love. The view is unbeatable. Star gazing for free. Bring your own food and use their little kitchen or get something at their little restaurant. We love it and will always stop here when we travel through.

They offer 6 or so stand alone studio cabins with kitchen. The view from inside and on the front porch wad breathtaking. Enjoyed cocktails in the evening and coffee in the morning on our private front porch ovetlooking the colorful desert landscape. There are great places to eat, but with the view we just hung out in our cozy cabin and prepared our own food.

Beautiful scenery
I would’ve liked a restaurant menu in my room for the restaurant attached to the inn. Also it said reservations are best, so I didn’t bother trying to go to the restaurant because I assumed it would be too busy if I needed a reservation. However, when I walked by later I only saw one couple dining in there. I would take that reservation statement off the little brochure in the room to encourage more guests to eat there.

Great location to Capitol Reef National Park. Had dinner one evening at the on site restaurant and the service and food were very good. I would recommend the Capitol Burger food truck located in Torrey, Utah (it's the nearest town to the park), great burger. The rooms are nothing special but they are clean and comfortable. The views are 5-star.
