Everything! We got a suite for our family of 6; 2 seniors, 2 kids, 2 adults. Most of us felt like it’s our home & very comfy even tho we only stayed 1 night. Got there at 6pm. Didn’t really enjoy the surrounding as much as I wanted. Wish we can stay longer. The suite was on top of the store/diner, so everything was right there. The pool/jacuzzi was great as well. Very quiet town. Reminded me of a small town in Iowa where I grew up. Beautiful view right next to the mountains.

Not much really, or not a knock. The shower head is powerful that If you’re not careful to completely cover all the gaps the shower curtain, the overspray quickly collects enough water where it leaks thru to below store. Lesson learned, we ended up being extremely careful and use extra towels to block any overspray.

The property has everything you need, including laundry, a nice inexpensive restaurant for a quick breakfast and lunches can be packed to go. The store was very convenient for buying salad, fruit, veggies, fresh baked goods and beer. Room was a nice size and comfortable. Only about 20 units so a very quiet property. Very close to the national park. Staff were very nice!

Pool was not open, the site says seasonal so not clear what the open date is for it. (Stayed may 21 to 23).

The towering cottonwood trees create a ambience in the desert. Although in June the cotton is blowing! This place is obviously well run. Lovely shaded grounds and the pool hot tub a bonus! The rooms are very clean although a bit dated (That doesn't bother me). Beds and bedding were very very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and we were not bothered by its white noise. Coffee and tea are free in the store and deli on the grounds where you can also pick up breakfast and lunch. We loved our in town location while exploring Capitol Reef!

The coffee in the store is great, but not available/open until 7 AM.

We had breakfast at the deli. It was a good meal and the coffee was excellent. Staff were polite and competent. It was a perfect start to a long day. Value was reasonable. Bedding and beds were excellent , it was a pleasant sleep.

Pave the entire parking lot please. We could have used laundry services, that would have been a bonus. We thought that the flowers were a nice touch and appreciated how close we were to our rooms. Some residents were smokers and we could smell the smoke next to our rooms, that’s a hard one to fix though.

Nicely newly remodeled room. 2 chairs, a desk and a wide window sill gave us room to have coffee and muffins comfortably, not cramped or sitting on a bed. The store and deli are right on the property. They serve great food! Eat on site or take it to go.

No free breakfast. But, you can buy the breakfast you want; eat in the deli, outside seating, or order a box lunch.

Torrey is a small town but there are some restaurants and shops near to the hotel. The location was great for Capitol Reef and scenic hwy 12. Room was clean.

Terrible soundproofing between rooms! I could hear the people talking on either side of our room as well as the people walking above us.

We stayed in the Family Suite at the Austin's Chuckwagon Motel in Torrey on the drive through Utah. The Family Suite was great for our needs, plenty of space and a great view at night time.

It's worth noting that Torrey is quite small so there is a limited amount of things to do but it was a lovely break after a few days in Vegas.

Great little family run motel in the middle of town. General store, hair salon and bakery/deli also on premises. Had a food truck Capitol Burgers also there that evening. Well kept and updated with plenty of parking. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate free in general store with motel key. Lovely place to stay with friendly staff.

Everything was really nice. We loved staying in the cabin. The faculty was really nice. The general store was good. Location was great. Overall no complaints!

Probably the only complaint I’d have is their hard fast rule about if you aren’t gone by checkout at 11 they will charge you another nights stay price. I don’t know exactly how serious they are about that cause we didn’t test it. But that’s at least what they say on their paper.

The motel was far and above what we expected. Comfortable, clean,and staff super helpful. The pool and hot tub were perfect after a long day of hiking. On site laundry was an added bonus and the burger truck!!!!! Best burgers we’ve ever had! We would HIGHLY recommend and the little diner in The general store went above and beyond!!
