We loved our stay at Skyridge. The room was comfortable. The host Shawn was very helpful and friendly, he even upgraded our tv during our stay. We loved the hot tub which is outside and reservable so you have your own time. The breakfasts were delicious with only the best ingredients. The grounds had vantage points for sunrise, sunset and were perfect for stargazing! My only regret is that we didn’t book a reservation for one of their outfitter services.

Booked the Chamisa room - very spacious and had everything we needed. Excellent location and proximity to town and Capitol Reef NP. Morning breakfast was a nice treat too.

A bit awkward to have bathroom separate from main room. You have to leave the main room and cross the hall to go to bathroom. Bathroom did not lock fro. the outside which meant in theory that anyone could use it, but this didn't happen as far as we could tell.

The location was convenient for our trip. The room was comfortable and clean. The extra twin bed squeaked a little when my daughter tossed and turned at night, but it didn't cause a problem. The hot tub was amazing, and you can see the stars from the edge of the tub. The breakfast was very good. The owner was great, offered a ton of recommendations for hikes, things to do on our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Shawn,the owner, was such a nice person, he worked with us on room arrangements. We ended up in our original scheduled room, Chamisa, the 2nd night & we loved that room. He even had our luggage transferred to our room.

We understand a breakfast schedule but I personally did not like it. If you’re older & can’t lug luggage up 3 flights of stairs, don’t choose the Chamisa, we had everything in a backpack.

This was a wonderful place to spend an evening while we were touring capital reef.

The only suggestion I would make would be to have an option to either serve breakfast much earlier or to offer a sack continental breakfast. We wanted to visit the park early and it was very difficult for us to do that without having to come back or delaying our departure time to go into the park.

Being able to sit In Adirondack chair at edge of ridge overlooking great scenery at cocktail hour was terrific. Room also had great views and comfy balcony. Overall, comfortable room. Appreciated self checkin and autonomy. Really enjoyed Etta Place Cidery plus Shooke Coffee and, of course, walks in park.

Breakfast items posted in advance were helpful; however, not entirely accurate: breakfast sandwich not a croissant but more Wonder bread. For us, too much food and no option to request less. Hate to waste food like leaving pancakes uneaten. Appreciated requesting a set time 7:30, and breakfast plate delivered promptly. The most disturbing part of stay—minor, but noticeable—was Schoolmarmish tone of instructions. Perhaps one too many bad guests that resulted in such a stern tone?

The bed & breakfast was very comfortable and in a great location. The views were beautiful from the home. Shawn, the host, was easy to reach with questions and very responsive. Breakfast was delicious! They even accommodated my gluten-free dietary restriction which was an unexpected surprise. Shawn also gave us great advice for other hikes and things to do while we were in the area.

A very quiet place up on a hill just outside Torrey. Our room (Juniper) was clean, had a very big shower, and a great view! The breakfast in the morning was very nice. Freshly made pancakes and scrambled eggs with a good drip coffee and a nice chat with the owner. By the way, the breakfast changes every day, so look at the menu besides the front door.

tif one was on the right side of the bed on the "main bedroom" , there were tines when the headlights of the cars could still be seen, i had to go further to the left side of the bed. As we had also booked the other bedroom but had slight issues with the AC, texted/called the # but did not get a reply as the owner was out of the house, Luckily, we met him as we were leaving for dinner and brought the issue to his attentin.

The inn is lovely. Although we booked the least expensive room, it was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the mesa. We used the common hot tub both nights (booking ahead) and it was a real treat. We also enjoyed having the Keurig in the kitchen area available all day--really nice when we got back from a long hike. The breakfast both days was delicious: huge portions and lots of fresh fruit. We really enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Great location on the main road, just a few minutes outside the park. Next time we'd love to book a jeep tour!

I found myself wishing the hotel had an actual host, or a desk, or something. It's true that the "host" is easily reachable by phone--we had to call him to figure out how the AC worked and to fix an issue with one of our lamps, and he answered right away. But having a flyfishing shop on the premises that's kind of half-constructed, with no one apparently working in it, is a bit odd. There were guides coming in and out at various times, but not much info on how to hire one, or what services were available. There are two beautiful cats that belong to the hotel, but which aren't allowed in. I respected that, but one day they had run out of food and were crying incessantly: I felt bad for them, and there wasn't anyone there to ask who was feeding them.
