The staff was friendly and the property was spacious and clean! Upon check-in we met (Ram Ram) Gina, a phenomenal woman, who runs the front desk during the day. This is no easy job but she does it with ease and grace. She is competent and kind. She upgraded our room which did not house any kitchen necessities like a microwave and refrigerator. We were thrilled to see the room that she upgraded us to. It was gigantic and had a half galley kitchenette with so much counter space and had a sink, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, etc. now the room itself was spacious and super squeaky clean! This is all thanks to the housekeeping dynamic duo of Vishnu and his wife Laated. The sheets and blankets smelled fresh and the bathroom was pristinely clean. When checking-out of hotels we make sure to gather all towels and place them into a corner of the bathroom. We also strip the beds and place the linens in a corner of the room. We finish up by cleaning the kitchenette area as well as the bathroom and all it encompasses with comet spray cleanser. We don’t just do this to get our cash deposit back. We’ve always done this. It is only fair that we as guests are accountable for the cleanliness of our room. Every single part of it that we utilize and even areas that we don’t. It’s just bad form to leave your hotel room in shambles for other people to clean up after your mess. This is just a crash course in proper manners 101!

There is an element of bad actors that linger around the hotel but the folks running the front desk see every facet of the property on camera so for those who opt not to follow the hotel guidelines and arguably the guidelines of all hotels in the Salt Lake City area and its surrounding areas don’t get too terribly far in their failed attempts to breech the hotel entrance doors. Also, we were thrilled to learn that the Royal Inn will be getting a full makeover sometime in the next few months. With the remodel in the near future I can’t imagine that any of these would-be guests will be a thing of the past. There’s just no room for as I stated above “bad actors” who are wanting to engage in illegal activities. Zero room for shenanigans!

Staff was friendly and very helpful, easy to work with. Accommodations fit my needs. Currently going through a update/remodel that'll hopefully fix some things.

Some things need to be fixed. Mostly cosmetic. They're in the process of a update/remodel. So I see things improving as time goes on. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable, but that's okay. Would be nice to have plastic shower curtains for those who like to take showers instead of baths

The maids are amazing. And very sweet. And Danny at the front desk is just so amazing very very nice man. That's why I always come back . But there is a one of the guys that works nights that needs to be fired he is very ignorant just a really big jerk he's the one that drive a maroon Acura legend there is so many complaints I started laundry at 8pm I only done 2 loads at 10 minutes. After 9 he come up and yelled at me at that time my washer was getting ready to rinse he went down stairs. And shut the water off if he continues to work there I won't be coming back I'm sorry but other than him everything Is perfect Thank you.

The location was close to IKEA, which was our goal for visiting Draper. The room was comfortable and clean.

I prepaid for the room through Booking.com but the clerk told me something about the credit card being declined, which didn't make sense, and charged me again at a steeper rate. The morning clerk reversed the charge -- thank heaven.

pretty much all the staff is very very respectful as well as very helpful, there is only one staff member that works in the evening he always has an attitude and even though I have always been respectful towards him, he seems to be bothered with anything i say to him The breakfast is great and is served everyday from 5:30-9 am

There is no public transportation close by, as well as the prices change everyday

Could use some updating. Noticed most of the windows are falling apart which caused it to look a bit run down

Aircon/heater filters were furry-dirty - IMO this is something that no guests should experience when paying for hotels! No elevator!!? We're seniors and had to insist on a ground floor room. Did not measure up to the Ramada name

The Staff were all very helpful and nice to deal with. They also served a great breakfast unlike the Quality Inn on 7200 So. 300 W. which advertises they do, but they really don't. So for the value it was great. There are also no drugies walking around the building like the Quality Inn has. It was a very safe place to stay. I fully recommend this hotel.

The only thing I didn't like were the hallway carpets and walls. They could update the carpet and paint the walls and it would be nice.

New linens and updates to rooms make it a very comfortable stay. Management are new and lovely. Made sure the whole family were comfortable and fed well at breakfast. Also found good quality branded shower products were a bonus!

The comfortable beds and cleanliness were good. There is a quiet atmosphere, and parking spaces are available. The staff is attentive to requests and attends to them promptly. I would recommend for a stay of few days.

Bedclothes need an upgrade.
