Our room was on the 4th floor, it was quiet and had a great view. We liked the breakfasts, good selections and clean tables/surroundings. The parking was okay, but could be better. Apparently they were fixing the watering system outside, big holes where I twisted my foot because I couldn't see as outdoor lighting was inadequate. I enjoyed the desk as we had paperwork to manage. The recliner was a favorite as was the shower. Room temperature was pleasant. We appreciated the frontage road up to the light with such a busy thoroughfare at the entrance. Thanks for a nice stay.

Funny you should ask about the lighting, it was insufficient. I have alway liked LaQuinta's big lighted bathroom mirror. So by comparison to former stays I was disappointed, but I understand the need to be more cost efficient BUT there's got to be more light at the sink. We were led to understand that our room because of multiple night stays our room and linens would be left untouched BUT after a day away we came back to find things in our room changed. Had we known we would have taken valuables and medications with us and picked up. It left us feeling uneasy and probably embarrassed. My bad!

The room was nice, but we are older and would have preferred a room on the first floor instead of the third in the middle of the building because it required a lot of walking to and from the elevator and the room and exit. The breakfast was good but they had the utensils facing up so people were touching the side you eat with instead of the handle side which isn't very sanitary. And the bed was okay but it had "grooves" worn in it from people sitting and laying on the edge of it so it made you want to roll out of the bed if you slept to close to the edge, and the pillows were terrible they were tiny little rocks, no give in them and to small to try and fluff up and spread out. Great for looks, but terrible for function.

If you look at the comment above you will see what I didn't like and what I feel you could have done better. Over all our stay was okay but there is definitely room for improvement. Just getting into where the hotel is if you are traveling in the wrong direction can be a problem.

This is a nice hotel with a great breakfast, eggs, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and the coffee is really good and available all day. There are some foods for purchase if you can't get to a restaurant. It is close to many shopping areas, restaurants, including a McDonalds. The UVU is across the street. There are buses around. Nice view of the lake and the temple.

There was a kleenex stuck on the artwork on the wall. It was a bit gross to look at. I mentioned it to the receptionist when checking out.

The hotel is clean and has a good location. Room rates were reasonable, staff were friendly. The property has an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a free breakfast in the morning, and free coffee and tea. They do not take cash at this property, only debit or credit cards.

One morning it seemed like everyone in the hotel was taking a shower at the same time. When we were trying to take a shower, the water never got hot.

Location, the view of the lake, mountains, new LDS Temple was breathtaking from my room-especially at night, affordable, room size was beyond excellent, very clean, tasty breakfast provided, pool and hot tub exceptional-maintained very well, kind staff, check in process was quick-easy-efficient, check in attendant was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful, comfortable bed and size, all the amenities were great, and more! I give this specific La Quinta on parkway Orem 5/5 stars easily!! Highly recommend!

Honestly, I cannot think of anything specific to answer this question at this time.

Good choices for breakfast. Staff was very accommodating. The toilet kept clogging. After failed attempts and buying a plunger ourselves to no avail we let management know and they were very kind and understanding and put us in another room right away.

The hallways and breakfast dining are were very cold all hours of the day and night. The laundry facilities were in desperate need of upgrades and was a bit pricey.

Clean and updated.

The shower faucet wasn’t working - it only did super hot water. The in-unit AC also didn’t work great. It couldn’t cool down the room. We were only in the room for a quick 10 hour turnaround between layover flights so we didn’t bother to report these issues to the staff. Had we planned to stay longer we probably would have switched rooms so we could shower without 2nd degree burns.

We had an exceptional stay at this elegant, quintessentially American hotel. The included breakfast was a highlight, featuring delectable waffles drizzled with maple syrup—something we’d been craving and truly savored. The room was spacious, with a supremely comfortable bed, providing everything needed for a restful and rejuvenating experience. Highly recommend!

The room was comfortable and I had partial view of the lake. The location was nice. I had access to every place I wanted to go to within the hotel's vicinity.

The only downside to staying was the amount of noise going on around the hotel floor during the last two nights. Not sure what was going on, but it was never addressed.

We stayed in the king suite. The size of the room was great, good separation. We have stayed here before. The only comment I would have is that the room does need updating. The paint is worn in spots, and the facility shows signs of ageing. Enjoy the coffee available. Parking was great.

Everything is good. Would like more choices of fresh fruit.
