This property is fantastic. The vibe is ski chalet/lodge with all the modern comforts. The staff is so professional and courteous, and the public spaces are all immaculate. The rooms were very well appointed, and all suites means a lot of room for the price, which is more than competitive with most of the options closer to town. The area feels very safe. It is a quick 10 minute drive to downtown, but the hotel is also immediately across the street from a #11 ("Airport") bus station which takes about 20 minutes to downtown, about 5 minutes to the UVM Medical Campus (Burlington buses are $2 per ride, capped at $4 per day if you use their App, and very clean and reliable). Ample free parking. It is also easy to get an Uber/Lyft here. This property also offers a free shuttle to and from the Burlington Airport (BTV) which is about 10 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast offered many hot and cold choices and changed daily. Free coffee/tea all day. The evening reception offered a different complimentary "light bite" each evening and complimentary beer and wine. Hotel also offers laundry service and coin-op laundry ($2 per wash, $2 per dry). Definitely would stay again!

The only thing I can complain about is that the evening reception is only offered Tues - Thurs. I assume it is intended for business travelers, not the weekend/family crowd, so no surprise.

The pool and jacuzzi didn't look clean. The water looked cloudy and looked unsanitary. We saw a gentleman dipping his dirty shoes in the pool, while a bunch of guys in their 20's hogging the jacuzzi. Kids were screaming very loudly. We couldn't even relax, read, or dare enter the pool after what we had observed. Would have appreciated it if there was some proper etiquette that all guests need to abide by while in the pool area. Perhaps an attendant stationed in the area, who would or can deter when guests are behaving unruly or doing inappropriate actions.

The grounds, staff especially michael at the front desk, breakfast was some of the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The room was so clean and spacious. This was my best experience in my life at a hotel. Michael at the front desk took time to find us different rooms because I accidentally books the wrong beds. He made us feel so at ease about the process and the entire stay!

The hot tub was full of soapy like suds. Never seen that in a hot tub before. Also there were babies in swim diapers and floaties each night in the hot tub. At one point we heard the mom say to the dad he pooped you need to go change him. We were all grossed out and left.

A very lovely, large room with a full kitchen. So easy to pick up takeout and eat it there. Building is like a condo unit; I think our room was larger than my first city apartment out of college! Very close to everything, including UVM, which is less than 10 minutes away. Trader Joe's a few minutes up the road. Easy access. Lovely staff. Ample towels in bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast room is so inviting.

We had a room by the road and the trucks and motorcycles were loud. Shower was small and dark, but the overall bathroom large. Could have used a vegetarian hot breakfast option.

Me and my family have stayed at this hotel several times. over the last few years The hotel is very well kept. The lobby and rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. In the morning, staff are always actively cleaning the common areas. I like the fact that the breakfast buffet and dining area are constantly monitored and proactively managed. I have seen the hotel manager/owner talking to staff and walking around with them tidying things up in the dining area and lobby in the late morning.

While the staff seems okay, once guest have checked in, not a single staff person, nor the manager/owner proactively engage in conversation and try to get to know the guests or ask us if we need anything from time to time. During my 5 night stay, the cleaning staff did not check on my room and empty my trash cans. Luckily, I'm a very neat person, so it was not a "real" issue, so this was just an observation.

Spacious (but not quite as big as the photos make them seem) and beds were very comfortable. I liked that you could open the windows and our garden facing room was very quiet. Hotel has a laundry room with coin-op w/d. Staff were very nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and we slept great.

The first room we were in was on the ground floor, was dusty (the shades were covered in dust and my allergies were acting up), and the heating unit was very loud, but I asked to be moved and luckily they had another room a floor up which was great. Location isn’t great if you are there to explore downtown Burlington, but it seemed like a lot of guests were there for the hospital, so I imagine for that purpose it’s a great location. Also, we were hoping for a home style Vermont breakfast, but it was almost identical to an Embassy Suites breakfast - typical chain hotel fare.

They have thought of everything. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We even decided we needed a break from eating out and the well-appointed mini-kitchen in our room had everything we needed. This made for a very relaxing evening

It was my own fault for not looking into better but the distances seemed to indicate riding our bikes into downtown Burlington would be reasonable but the size of the roads and no dedicated bike lane made that prohibitive for me. In the end, we discovered South Burlington was a good jumping off point but we were glad we had a car

Room was nice, comfortable, well equipped and quiet.

We asked in advance if there would be Gluten Free food during breakfast, however when we arrived to breakfast there was nothing at all suitable for celiac - nor bread, cake, biscuit, or whatever. When we asked the lady in charge of the kitchen if there's anything suitable, she screamed on the breakfast manager: 'I told you there's nothing gluten free". He then came back to me and said - 'There's nothing gluten free'. Anyhow, although we paid for B&B, our gluten free member had nothing to eat at all.

The two bedroom, two bathroom suite we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was very good with lots of choices.

We had no room service the entire week which I expected based on what we learned during check-in. What I did expect was for someone to collect used towels and replace them and take out garbage at least once during the week. Guests shouldn’t have to take used towels out themselves and they certainly should not be left outside the door in the hallways.

Cleanliness of the room met expectations, making for a cozy, comfortable stay. We had some issues with the kitchen sink not putting out enough water pressure or draining properly, but that was a very minor inconvenience that had minimal impact on our stay. The pool hall was clean, although the pool was a bit murky in comparison to the typical appearance of a chlorine pool - appearing to possibly have had fresh cleaner added in around the time of our stay. Again, not an issue, but something my spouse took notice of as a change from previous times she's stayed at Green Mountain Suites. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would certainly book again in the future!

The price was a bit higher than expected, however our booking was last minute and on a holiday weekend. So although the price was high, it won't prevent us from booking again in the future.
