Me and my family have stayed at this hotel several times. over the last few years The hotel is very well kept. The lobby and rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. In the morning, staff are always actively cleaning the common areas. I like the fact that the breakfast buffet and dining area are constantly monitored and proactively managed. I have seen the hotel manager/owner talking to staff and walking around with them tidying things up in the dining area and lobby in the late morning.

While the staff seems okay, once guest have checked in, not a single staff person, nor the manager/owner proactively engage in conversation and try to get to know the guests or ask us if we need anything from time to time. During my 5 night stay, the cleaning staff did not check on my room and empty my trash cans. Luckily, I'm a very neat person, so it was not a "real" issue, so this was just an observation.

Spacious (but not quite as big as the photos make them seem) and beds were very comfortable. I liked that you could open the windows and our garden facing room was very quiet. Hotel has a laundry room with coin-op w/d. Staff were very nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and we slept great.

The first room we were in was on the ground floor, was dusty (the shades were covered in dust and my allergies were acting up), and the heating unit was very loud, but I asked to be moved and luckily they had another room a floor up which was great. Location isn’t great if you are there to explore downtown Burlington, but it seemed like a lot of guests were there for the hospital, so I imagine for that purpose it’s a great location. Also, we were hoping for a home style Vermont breakfast, but it was almost identical to an Embassy Suites breakfast - typical chain hotel fare.

Cleanliness of the room met expectations, making for a cozy, comfortable stay. We had some issues with the kitchen sink not putting out enough water pressure or draining properly, but that was a very minor inconvenience that had minimal impact on our stay. The pool hall was clean, although the pool was a bit murky in comparison to the typical appearance of a chlorine pool - appearing to possibly have had fresh cleaner added in around the time of our stay. Again, not an issue, but something my spouse took notice of as a change from previous times she's stayed at Green Mountain Suites. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would certainly book again in the future!

The price was a bit higher than expected, however our booking was last minute and on a holiday weekend. So although the price was high, it won't prevent us from booking again in the future.

Our family travels extensively in New England, and Green Mountain Suites was probably the best place we have stayed. It's comfortable and has everything you need for family time away. Common spaces are excellent - lobby with fireplace, pool and hot tub, exercise room, and the free breakfast is incredible. Staff manages the impossible balance between genuine friendliness and unobtrusiveness. Location is fantastic - lots of conveniences (restaurants, stores, etc.) in South Burlington and only ten minutes away from downtown. We will definitely be back again, and again, and again.

Very comfortable apartments, fully stocked, comfy bed, great pool / jacuzzi area and nice small gym. The lobby was also really comfortable and a place you’d actually want to spend time in. Lots of cute outdoor space to relax, too.

The only thing was that the apartment smelled a little funky when I entered and I think it was the garbage disposal. I could also hear the person upstairs walking around (not terrible but more than standard hotels), and someone next to or below me had a habit of slamming their doors and that was incredibly loud. But I slept well with no earplugs and I normally need them.

Honestly the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at for the price! The room was huge! The king size bed was in a separate large bedroom that was able to be closed off to the rest of our space. The bedroom had 2 nightstands each with a side lamp. There was also an alarm clock, TV, closet, dresser and full size mirror in the bedroom. The bathroom was super nice and had 2 doors so was accessible from both the bedroom and off the kitchen. The kitchen had a good size fridge and freezer, it also had a toaster, microwave, stove top, dishwasher and had a table to eat at with dining room chairs. The kitchen was also stocked with lots of pots, pans, silverware, glasses, plates, bowls and even a can opener. It also had a living room with another TV, a couch, a coffee table and a chair. Such a big hotel room and was very clean!

Everything was great! I have no complaints.

I enjoyed that it was roomy and had a kitchen. Nice to have access to bathroom from both rooms. Great that they provide dishes and pans in room for convenience. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Enjoyed fire place in lobby , cozy feeling. Location was great as close to many stores and shops as well as highway.

Needs thicker curtains in the room as windows are cold and little drafty. Heat needs to work a little better. I set the thermostat to 80 and the room was still cool. Make sure breakfast food is available. Both days when we got there had to wait as pan were empty. Staff were quick to get food out.

The hotel was very pleasant with a beautiful fireplace where breakfast is taken. On certain days of the week, they organise a small get-together with appetisers and wine, which is very warm and appreciated. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and available. The room was big, with all the equipment you need for a long stay, including a kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave and dishwasher. (little + for the fireplace in the room). We did not choose this accommodation for its location as it is not downtown, but the drive to Church Street is only about a 10 minutes drive, as is a climbing gym, the Zero Gravity Brewery or a lovely City Market (Onion River Coop).

We were a bit surprise that only one bed was made when we arrived to the accommodation as the reservation was made for 3 adults. We had to prepare the sofa bed ourselves with the sheets available in the cabinet.

Perhaps most important aspect of a good hotel room is cleanliness and a comfortable bed, both of which we found at the Green Mountain Suites. Here is our more complete list of accolades for this hotel: Welcoming and helpful concierges; inviting and lovely hotel common areas with a central fireplace; 24/7 self-serve coffee/tea; complete breakfast buffet with a generous variety of hot and cold offerings, ample seating for hotel guests--inside and outside, beautiful patio seating, surrounded by green and flowering plants; clean & well-maintained indoor swimming pool and sauna; well-designed and furnished King suite: kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom; comfortable bed and furniture; stylish architectural and design choices throughout hotel, which did not seem motivated by ostentation but for comfort and pleasure. We felt at home and will return as often as we visit Vermont.

Our room was spacious and having a kitchenette in the room and guest laundry at the hotel was also a nice bonus. The complimentary evening drinks and hors d’eouvers was a welcomed benefit (even if it was for only an hour 3 days a week.) Proximetry to the airport and supermarket/retail/dining outlets was fine, although we did have a car to get around. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The AC in our room was terribly loud and some better lighting in the suite would’ve been appreciated as it was dark and not very well lit. The hotel was very pricey considering rooms are not serviced unless your stay is greater than a week, (however you can request clean towels if needed.) The breakfast was ok, but a lot of the food options were highly processed. Some healthier options would’ve been appreciated.
