Motel is bright and welcoming, manager friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Room was beauifully clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Room had both a fridge and a microwave. Both floors had a bench in the corridor with a keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, hot water urn, packets of oatmeal and a variety of teas on hand 24 hrs, as well as a small fridge with half and half and various chobani flavoured greek yoghurts. We found croissants and blueberry muffins on the bench in the morning which one could take back to the room, as well as some oranges in the fridge. The motel is on main road into South Burlington and faces the mountains in the west although there was no view from our window at this time of year because of trees. Downtown Burlington is less than ten minutes drive.

Hard to think of much that could be improved except that I found there to be a lack of hanging space for wet towels and the toilet flushed very loudly.

South Side Inn looks like a family owned hotel with 2 stories. It's in a convenient location south of Burlington by about 4 miles on Shelburne Rd. It's clean and has nice live plants and flowers inside. The rooms are spacious with a convenient kitchenette. The price is right. I would recommend it.

It wasn't fancy, but rather quaint and well kept. That's not really a criticism.

This was a lovely family owned inn. It was clean and obviously well loved. Greg, the gentleman who checked us in, lived in the back. I asked for help with our TV and he jumped up and came to our room to sort everything out. He was just wonderful. They had croissants for breakfast that were some of the best croissants I’ve ever had.

It was not a luxury resort and didn’t have amazing facilities is like a pool or a spa. It was a wonderful little inn that was comfortable and cozy and made for a great nights sleep.

My Hero, Greg took care of me again. My first visit, he ran out of the building and ran across the parking lot to save my walker from taking a nose dive into the roadway, when I didn't even know it was rolling. The shower curtain was cleanly washed and the shower was hot and extra yummy, this time. I had the same, sweet room, huge front facing window, with tons of light, oh so comfy. He was right on time with my wake up call, as the first time. He goes above and beyond for me, as I'm sure he does for all his guests. He wasn't at the desk when I left the building, but as soon as he saw I left my room key and ice bucket, he ran out into the parking lot to say goodbye. He's the sweetest thing ever. BIG HUG GREG. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The room was very reasonably priced compared to others in the area. The amenities are basic, but that is all I needed. The room, lobbies, and hallways were very clean. The beds were comfortable, and everything was in working order. If I had stayed longer, the kitchenette would have come in handy. The location is convenient. The staff were friendly. A hidden gem...the restaurant, Paulines, right next door!

Busy road, but that is the price you pay for convenience.

Exceptional view of Lake Champlain and Adirondack Mtn. Beautiful sunset to make everything complete. Spacious room up to date furnishings,anemieties, etc. The bed was extremely large and comfortable.

I didn't particularly like the check out,to me it seemed rushed. I should have requested a late checkout my fault. In reality staff had a busy morning ahead since every room was booked and sold busy morning cleaning

Extremely clean, easy check in, check out. Free coffee and treats in the morning. Family run. Location perfect for a cycling weekend.

Dated and worn, no daily housekeeping

The location was great, food, activities, and easy access to all routes. The hotel alittle dated but clean and safe. The staff was very kind and friendly.

The only downside was could hear traffic all night recommend some sort of radio or ear plugs.

The staff, Including the manager, work hard, which is a parent in how well kept the place is.

I would love a bathtub not just a shower. And I would love Cheaper rates, though, I understand that It can be very difficult to succeed as a small to medium business.

Great staff and comfortable room. More like a hotel than a motel as you do not pull in your luggage from your car! You can see your car from the window and the property has cameras and security so no worries.

The location was not great but we wanted to stay in different parts of Burlington and was just one night so was fine.
