Newly renovated on the inside. The outside can use some updates. Idk if this is an everyday thing but apparently the pool doesn’t close because we got in at 10pm and the pool was popping til after midnight 🤣 I am not complaining at all. Directly across the street from Kings dominion gate (Parked at the hotel and walked to the park). The room was cleanish ( they definitely could have swept better and mopped better, especially with the hardwood floors. Bed was comfy. Bathroom small but it worked out for our family of 4- 2 adults and 2- 11yr olds.

I didn’t have an icebox to fill up ice in my room. Yes minor inconvenience but still an inconvenience. The room wasn’t properly cleaned upon arrival (the floor could’ve used a good sweep and mop). Also for

The rooms are what you expect for the price. Decent and affordable. They try to keep it up and keep it nice. I loved that it was within walking distance to kings dominion. One of the light sockets was half way hanging off, and the sink in the one of the rooms was leaking but with towels from the hotel, we were able to keep it from spreading on the floor. All in all, if I ever come back to kings dominion, I’ll definitely stay here again!

The sink was leaking in room 316 and the light was coming off. That could be a fire hazard. Dangerous

This place is certainly a cabin in the woods. Tucked behind the trees, away from the highway, this place was truly a lovely rest stop for the night. Although the staff can be a little confusing, they were helpful and friendly. The rooms were certainly what you would expect when paying the price, a semi-spacious room with comfortable beds and gorgeous bathroom and shower. Was certainly a gem that I would be returning to if we're ever passing by.

I like that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I also like where are room was ( on the corner). Another thing I liked was that it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the fact they allowed me to check in early and staff was very friendly also. The best part is how close this hotel is to kings dominion.

What I did not like was that my key card to my room stopped working on the 2nd morning of my stay. So I had to go down to the lobby to get them to fix the key card. lady at the front desk said I was only staying one night and thank god i had the hotel paper on me to prove i had paid for two night. Then she said she had made a mistake after seeing the paper from the hotel I had. In the end she fixed my key card tho. The other thing i don't like was that everytime you wanted coffee you had to go to the lobby and the cups were so small you could only get three sips before having to go back down to get a refill. Each room should have a coffee maker.

The room was super clean without any chemical cleaning product smells. The TV was larger than most. All of the furnishings were in excellent shape. The bathroom was well set up with plenty of hot water. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The artwork was modern and pleasant. The cost of the room was excellent and a great value. The reception staff was professional and very courteous. Overall, it was a great lodging experience.

The road to get into the hotel was very dark and impossible to follow. Maybe request the county put some lines in the middle and along the shoulder of the road.

The free breakfast was great however we did not know about it from any of the booking information and the front desk did not tell us at check-in. And the restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic. Walking to Kings Dominion from the hotel was also great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Somewhat disappointing that the pool was closed. Again the front desk worker did not tell us about motel amenities like the free breakfast open until 10am. We kind of stumbled on that information. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure but super tiny toilet and shower area. Didn't bother me but my sister found it a little challenging.

Location was great. The room was very comfortable.

Breakfast was TERRIBLE! Most likely the worse breakfast we've encountered on our travels. This will have us looking for another motel/hotel. An individual who I assume was a long term resident was working on a truck in the parking lot in front of our room. Tires were off the truck. A tire was leaning against the motel wall.

The property was nice even tho when you put it in Waze it sends you to the wrong location. The guy at night who works the front desk was super nice. The room was super nice tho a little dirty on the floors and the bathroom but all and all it was decent. No bed bugs and a nice ac. If you’re at king’s dominion it’s literally walking distance.

Guest smoking weed to where you can smell it thru the room while sleeping.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant stayed open late for us to have dinner, the food was fantastic and the service was also excellent! The room was really nice and updated and the price was great.

There was a small leak under the sink in our room, it wasn't really a problem we just put the ice bucket under it, but ut should be fixed

The room was renovated, but not quite finished. Liked the laminate floors-definitely an improvement from old carpet. Bed was pretty comfortable. Rate was very reasonable, and super close to kings dominion. The Mexican restaurant was convenient and pretty good. Tv was nice.

There was a weird chemical smell- maybe renovating rooms close by? The bathroom was a relic, but everything worked.
