We enjoyed the hotel and extended our stay for a second night, with a waterfront room.

Our first night, Friday, the hotel was hosting a Senior Prom approx. 300 students and their partners. Families and friends as well. What a s show. Partying everywhere, libations everywhere, door knocks at 2am! Saturday morning, the breakfast room was closed for a private business function. Breakfast took 45 minutes to get served in the bar area. Rumor was only one chef on duty. That poor chef had to tend to of the calamity. The lobby staff was noticeably frazzled, as expected. They went above and beyond to maintain a smile.

There was a prom and another function happening at the same time within the bldg and a lot going on. I wasn’t able to get the buffet breakfast like last year but, they did cook small breakfasts to eat in the bar area. ( I was looking forward to the buffet) there was a function in that room. Very difficult getting in to check in due to prom activity but, we made it. Loud, loud car revving of engine and racing around that evening disturbing the peace as we ate at the brewery on the dock beside the hotel. I am very please at check-in that our lady gave us the 9th floor to be away from all of the noise and chaos. It satisfied why we were staying mid point in our trip.

Everything, we were both tired and just needed some rest. We were able to obtain it here. Great locate I was 15 minutes away from the rest of the family that was in town as well.

Not enough to do during the week at the hotel, no game area. Not even sure if there was an exercise room. If it was it was not offered at the time of check in. I heard so much about the rooftop experience, but nothing was stated about it during the time of check in. Great pool area, but again it was not offered or told how to access it during check in.

I would like to highlight Ms LaMonica for her exceptional customer service. My room was nice and welcoming, I appreciate the personalized touch on the television. I attended for the National Black Midwives Conference. Lastly, Joy. Joy in catering was amazing, willing to help, offer alternatives or solutions, and she directed her team efficiently. The free breakfast team was great, too. Second day they already have my preference ready and waiting, that's good service.

No issues minus my sink wouldn't drain at first which was annoying.

A great stay! The staff is excellent! From om Lamonica at the front desk who always greeted us, to Miss Michelle who kept our room spotless, and Anthony in engineering who took time to give us a history of the hotel. The entire staff was always friendly with warm greeting! A pleasure to stay here! Highly recommended.

Everyone was nice and kind. Very helpful. The property is clean well maintained. 21 and older party.

Not exactly family friendly. Pool closes down at 2pm for 21 and older. Our check in was at 4 and we leave at 11 so it did not allow time for the kids to swim. They should change it to 4 or even 6 for 21 and older. Also false fire alarm at 2:10 am.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and restaurant with yummy food choices. Beautiful decor and comfy bedding.

I only had one mishap that was not caused by the property per se. Apparently there was a break in communications between Booking.com and The Landing regarding one of my reservations. It was resolved. I also think it is strange that there are no microwaves in each floor of the property yet there are refrigerators in the rooms. I would’ve liked a microwave in my room.

Great room, decorated with taste, view on the marina, fridge, coffee machine, free garage. Lots of restaurants at walking distance

There were several features in the room that showed poor craftsmanship or were not repaired in an optimal manner - mainly the bathroom access ceiling panel to the air conditioning. The lobby furniture had water stains. The chairs were not properly cleaned

Comfortable room/bed; great central downtown location- there was some great activities/things to do… ie Miss Hampton 2hr day cruise; close to Hampton University & Private Pool Party on Friday & Saturday excellent breakfast buffet; friendly staff ; Beautiful Lobby w/ great music!

Elevators were kind of scary.
