The staff at the Hampton were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. The breakfasts were well prepared and the dining area clean. We received a courtesy call informing us the elevator was not in working order. I appreciated the call and was able to get a first floor room as we are older with ADA concerns. We visit Richmond two to 3 times a year and have always stayed at other hotels. We will definitely return to this hotel on our upcoming visits requesting a first floor room.

The elevator was not working the 5 days we were there. Other Hampton Inns I stay in have shampoo, conditioners and body wash available in bottles on the bathroom shower wall. This offering makes traveling easier. Traveling with a pet, the grass area was not well attended- a lot of dirt and sticks. More fresh fruit options for breakfast would be appreciated.

The hotel was very clean, which was really nice.

Breakfast was extremely limited. For example, other locations offer muffins, which were missing here. Price on a bottle of water was $5. Staff could have been friendlier.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly, yet professional. Location was nice as well, around lots of good establishments and shopping.

The room was bigger than average hotel rooms; they served a hot breakfast if you choose along with cold cereal, muffins, bagels and an assortment of juice. The location was perfect right in the middle of everything you might need. Each room has a microwave and fridge. The check in and check out process was easy and quick. The hallways are bright and have good lighting; they do not have any laundry facility on the premises but there plenty of laundromats in the immediate area. The location of the hotel is very safe.

Not a big deal but there was a dog barking in another room. It happened to be storming that night so I get it!

It was a great property, but it could be a little more lit up in parking area!

The breakfast was very good. Great would have been if they had gluten free bread products individually wrapped as a choice. The service at breakfast was excellent. Diane was an absolute delight to talk to. She was on top of keeping everything clean and refilled.

There was a lot of construction and renovation going on. The pool was out of commission. The workers were very respectful, however.

It was clean. It wasn't directly on the main roadway.

Was a little pricey for the area. It didn't have Hallmark channel on the tv.
