Did not [email protected] bed was broken front desk Karen quickly resolved issue. Had matinance check it. Then moved me to another room which was actually on a quieter floor ( to my liking)...loved the huge shower in my room # 729

.. for price paid, several structure damages noticed. Even furniture worked out. Chair in my room cloth on bottom hanging on floor. One side of drapes hanging ( missing clips)...Front Entrance very dirty( spider webs, cigarettes on ground, windows needed cleaning, dry leaves all around edge of door frame..just not very welcoming view @ first glance.

The location was convenient & not too far from the event. I definitely loved the indoor pool even though I didn't have time to use it myself.

I don't recall if there was complimentary breakfast, but I do enjoy hotels that can provide something to that effect, & would highly suggest that if they didn't already do it.

The staff was super compassionate. I traveled there from Delaware for my best friends funeral and when I was asked by staff what brought me to VA and I informed her of the reason she was so touched that she came around from the desk area to embrace me during this difficult time. There are people who really still care and she was one of them!! wish I remembered her name so that I could personally thank her, but she was working the afternoon of 10/11/22 so if you can track down who was working that day and give her some kudos or a free lunch that would be great!! she deserves it.

I didn’t like that housekeeping knocked on the door several times to ask if I was checking out yet. interrupted my sleep but was very apologetic about it.

This is our 3 time staying there. Staff is nice and helpful.

The breakfast we got Friday was very good. Saturday was a buffet that was good. But Sunday I got waffles and I could not eat them. Every bite was just sugar.could not taste waffle at all. No I didnt send back the food, I hear bad thing when you do that I just didn't eat them.

Situated in a beautiful setting close to the hospital. The inside was nicely done and welcoming. The elevators had a glass full window that looks over the pond and walking path. Restaurant and bar are also in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. The real attraction for me was the the staff. Start to finish, super great service with big smile. That’s all the staff members.

Location was great - nearby to great shopping & restaurants. The room was immaculate - very comfortable. Loved the walk in shower. Used both the refrig & microwave for leftovers.

Bathroom was a bit dated.

I liked that they had a convenient snack pantry that you could buy drinks and snacks from. I also liked that you could charge it to your room which made for a quick exchange. I didn't really need to leave for anything, which was nice.

I thought the breakfast buffet was overpriced for offering a small selection of options. There was also a small dinner menu selection as well. Perhaps this is because the staff size was small? Also, I was surprised that room service was not offered, though it may have been due to not having a big staff. Since it was my first time staying there, I'm not sure if that's the norm, or if it was specifically due to it being a holiday weekend when I stayed.

Breakfast was well made with good variety. The cook, waiters, and front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Everything was great. I wish there was more restaurants on the side of the hotel so we didn’t have to walk across the turnpike area.

Everything. The wonderful lady Tuesday night at the front desk was amazing again. This was my second time checking in with her. She got me signed up for the bonvoy rewards. I can't say enough good about her!
