I answered these questions before! The man at the desk was extremely courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast. I like a soft pillow and the bed had a variety which was great. Most motels have pillows that are too fat. I really appreciated that soft pillow! The view from the window was a highway so was nothing to look at but I didn’t come for a view so it didn’t matter. The lighting was excellent. I could actually see to read.

I would like a light in the bathroom that does not activate the fan. I would prefer a separate fan switch.

Hotel went out of their way to listen to us as parents, and made accommodations for our autistic son. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast room big. Liked the check in process. (Although the repeated signing of paperwork on portal that I had already signed online was slightly ridiculous). Overall, our overnight stay at the hotel on our way to DC was positive.

Pool was a good walking distance from the hotel. (We had never been to a hotel were it wasn't directly attached) There were stains on the curtains in the room. Would have liked to see more fruit options offered at breakfast vs. just an apple.

The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were the best I've had in a hotel. The shower water pressure was also the best I've had recently in a hotel. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were excellent.

The curtains curled and would not close completely, so the first night, I could not sleep well after dawn. For the second night, I obtained paper clips from the front desk and was able to clip the curtains closed and was able to sleep. The room had carpeting, which I do not like in hotel rooms. LVP floors are cleaner and do not smell.

For the price, this place is fine. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good enough. Only a 3 min drive to downtown area. Shower and beds were great!

The ac wouldn’t change even though we tried to turn the temp down on the wall thermostat. The coffee pot in the room was missing the bottom tray where you put the coffee bag in, so we had to go down to lobby for coffee, and it wasn’t very good. A flavored creamer option and some cheese for breakfast would have been nice.

I am always cold because I can not regulate my body temperature. I would set the heat to 79 and in 10 minutes, the A/C would come on. I would turn it completely off and in 10 minutes, the A/C would come on again. This continued for my whole stay, every 10 minutes the A/C would come on, it did not matter how many times I set it or turned it off. I was freezing my whole stay and had trouble sleeping because I was cold.

The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty basic, but was good. For the price, I can't really complain!

The property just seems to be showing its age--things were visibly worn, paint was chipping in places, etc. Also a coffee maker was provided, but I had to move it to plug it in as the cord was too short to reach the nearest outlet.

Breakfast was acceptable. Employees seemed generally knowledgeable and friendly.

Called the front desk to let them know we would arrive late. He sounded panicked and essentially hung up on me. Said that he was checking in 3 people and couldn't talk. When I finally arrived I saw that I was talking to the twin brother Of Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) from Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Basically an air-headed Surfer guy. Oh well. For the most part my one night stay was pleasant.

I sincerely appreciated the hot breakfast items each morning, and I thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of having it available on the premises. The staff member who assisted with making the Belgian waffles was extra-patient and kind. I marveled at his kindness and patience as he answered many of the same questions over and over again.

We had a wonderful stay at Comfort Inn Roanoke. We had lost power and water at home and ended up staying at Comfort Inn two nights. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast both mornings as well. You couldn't ask for a better staff! Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommend.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. We got pinched by some flight cancellations and needed a place to stay. They provided us with a safe place to store our bags while getting our room ready, an early check in, a safe place to store our bags after checkout, friendly greetings, breakfast before checking in, and insights on restaurants and places to visit in the surrounding area. They went above and beyond and truly treated us like family.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations. We'll stay here again.
