This was a great location with easy access to stores and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly, polite and professional. It was easy to check in and staff very accommodating late checkout. WiFi and business computer was a nice option.

The room air conditioning unit was very loud and despite asking staff to fix it the sound continued throughout our stay. The breakfast was okay but the food lack seasoning and coffee/tea should be available throughout the day. It would be nice if the printer had a wireless option.

The setup and design of the hotel was excellent, loved the security aspect that your room key is required for access to elevator for all staying at the hotel. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Virginia Beach.

Room service could have been done at least 3 times during my six days. I know I had my do not disturb sign up but once taken down prior to 11:30 AM, I figured the room would have been refreshed some. But overall, the stay was welcoming.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, from April 30 to May 9, 2024, to celebrate our anniversary and her birthday. I live in Virginia Beach, and I'm aware that finding a good hotel with reasonable rates can be challenging. However, the Hyatt Place in Town Center Virginia exceeded our expectations. It's affordable but offers a level of service you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the location is convenient, and there's plenty of easy-to-find parking. The standout feature for me, though, was the staff. IVY at the front desk was incredibly helpful during check-in, ensuring we kept our rate even though my card had issues with payment. She remained a great help throughout our stay. CINDY A, MEGHAN, and the entire housekeeping team were always on hand to offer assistance and ensure we had everything we needed. BRANDON, ROCKY, CINDY, CONNER, and EMILY at the front desk were all friendly and approachable, addressing any concerns we had with a smile. We even met DENNIS in the elevator, and he kindly asked about our stay and whether the air conditioning was working properly. I can't remember the names of the breakfast area staff, but they were equally amazing, always hard at work to ensure guests had a great start to their day. I used to work in the hospitality industry, so I understand how tough it can be to maintain high standards and keep guests happy. The team at Hyatt Place Town Center did an outstanding job, making us feel welcome and comfortable. I can't thank them enough, and we will definitely be back!

This year alone I have went to Virginia Beach 4 times and I have gone to different hotels and Air BnB's but by far this hotel was in the top 3 for me in going to Virginia Beach because the location was right there in the plaza and it wasn't too far from the beach but it wasn't too far from all the other nice restaurants everything is about 10-20 minute drive which I think its perfect because its not too close to all the chaos of the Virginia Ocean front but its not too far where the car drive is overwhelming. Overall super happy with the stay and super happy with the room, me and my wife usually try to give all the furniture a pass and change the sheets and all from the bed but this time that we stayed everything was super clean and the sheets smelled like they had been machine washed.

The ONLY thing that I didn't quite like was that the TV's didn't come with some sort of netflix or streaming service available and it was the old fashioned channel TV's but this is just me being super picky about the stay because the TV channels were actually pretty good but I do wish they had the streaming service available, maybe a future investment? hopefully but either way the hotel is one that I'm definitely returning too.

Location was central to shopping, entertainment, and great restaurants. It was easy to navigate to and from the beach. The hotel was very clean, the room was nice, and the staff were exceptional. I loved that it was pet friendly and I was able to bring my dog.

Not really a dislike, but worth mentioning to anyone booking for the indoor pool; it is a small indoor pool. My kids still enjoyed it and it wasn't the primary reason we booked this property.

Staff were all friendly and professional. Felt safe, staff was alert and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable and descent size. Door key worked great at all times for all areas. Well stocked snack bar offering Starbucks brand coffees. Breakfast was good.

The cost of the room for the area of town it is in, was outrageous. When we arrived for check-in, the desk clerk said the room was a King instead of the double queen I booked (traveling with a friend we needed two beds), minor issue that was quickly corrected by the employee. The night-shift desk clerk was also the "bartender" and she was not kidding when she said it was her first time making an alcohol beverage. We ordered Long Island Ice Teas and she was following a recipe but we wasted our money, it was the worst beverage we both have ever had.

Rocky went above and beyond! She let us know where we could get our nails done while our room was getting cleaned since we arrived earlier than expected. Rocky gave us an upgrade for our 20th anniversary which was amazing! She was extremely helpful with giving us information on what time breakfast was, where it was and stuff to do locally. These are the kind of employees any company would fight to keep. Thank you!

We were happy with everything!

The staff was wonderful! Every staff member greeted us and wished us a good day and was more than willing to accommodate our requests. The breakfast selection was really good and they even had breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. Very kid and dog friendly.

For breakfast it would be nice if they could include a gluten free cereal option like Rice Chex. Also, it would be helpful if they could mark the scrambled eggs as containing gluten or marked as gluten free.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I left my key in the room and they were quick to help. One of the cleaning ladies that we saw throughout our stay was very sweet to me and complimented my children's behavior. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The free breakfast was beyond my expectations! Overall wonderful experience.

The only problem we had was the lock on the bathroom was a little wonky and my son got stuck in it but we were able to get it unlocked on our own and this didn't really effect our experience.

Location was great for what I was there for and there was plenty of stuff withing walking distance food/convenience etc. Breakfast had all the essential food groups available. No Bacon!! Which was probably a good thing because i was able to resist the sausage most mornings. (Would not have been the case with bacon).

Just a blip with the check in process, a couple got checked into my room a half hour after i got checked in so led to a bit of confusion.
