For my sons 16th birthday we surprised him with a stay at Great Wolf on our way to Bush Gardens. He had a blast at the indoor Water Park and loved Dunkin, the free popcorn, and the arcade! The arcade was a blast for all of us. What I loved the most was that the staff was super friendly, quick, and helpful. We purchased the Birthday package and it was money well spent. The staff decorated the door, my son received a cake, balloons, and tokens to the arcade. They had several packages to choose from. Our room was amazing and large for all seven of us comfortably. You also receive a pair of wolf ears once you check in. You will need to go to the gift shop to collect them. For families with small children, there were a lot of kiddos running through the hallways with their wands and interacting with a Quest game. I don't remember what game exactly, but on every hallway there were game peices to unlock levels. We were on our way to the gift shop when one of the kids beat the boss in the game. They were so excited! The gift shop was another highlight. They had a little of everything, from souvenirs, candy, jewelry, clothes, teddy bears, and more.

Honestly our stay was amazing to say the least. However, the only thing I didn't care for was the food at the restaurant. There was the buffet with small portions and the sides did not taste the greatest. The meat that was served was sliced very very thin, and I ended up asking the server for "a little extra" and they literally added a very thin half slice more to my plate. The staff was amazing, gratuity was already added in the bill, but I still tipped cash. My advice is to dine outside of the lodge.

Was handicap and had to walk long distance to room because there was no room available even though booking requested handicap consideration. However, room and other considerations were available and given for the handicap person which made up for inconvenience.

I brought my grandkids, and they loved the pool and the arcade.

It was problematic to have only one elevator available. I am a senior citizen and navigating the stairs to go to the fourth floor was not easy.

Food and drinks are pretty expensive. good food, but very costly.

Waterpark was awesome! Any question you had could be texted to the staff and they would answer you nearly immediately. That was wonderful.

Price

Everything went well. The kids really enjoyed the time at the Great Wolf Lodge. I just felt that the price paid for the room and admission to the water park should have included all of the activities and the wands needed to play the games. There are plenty of other things available for purchase, so the activities should all be included.

Had to use Credit card for everything!!!! Even if I wanted a drink and a peppermint Patty. I’m not a fan. Was double charged for my room. my money was on hold for about 5 days. I had to make multiple calls to rectify and was told it could take up to 30 days. Whew. Not happy.

The information as to what door to park near to gain access to the room faster! Parking at wrong door had us doing a lot of un necessary walking so much so that we didn’t even go to water park after checking in because we were so tired from walking and getting lost we wasted time ! Also the checkin time is so late 4:00 pm and the water park closes at 7pm, the day is almost gone and for those that may only stay 1 night to then have to check out at 11am. Wish they would change checkin time and checkout time by at least an hour or 2.

Park was great. There could be a few more tables. Staff was wonderful and engaging, we’re smiling and helpful.

The Wi-Fi and cell signals were not great, we had to try and stand on the balcony to get reception.
