The location is excellent. Just over the ferry and across the island. The staff, as always, were friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is open 24 hours and it’s really “make yourself at home”. The floors creak but I find that charming. There is original art scattered around the property. There are 4-5 sitting areas that are comfortable. Small town and the courthouse and police station are across the street.

Some of the food available was of the prepackaged, processed food category.

beds were very comfortable the family room/game room was lovely everything was nice and clean and quiet

the manager needed to smile mattress leaning in the hallway needed to be someplace else vacuuming at 1am in the morning is a bit odd; maybe when folks are not sleeping would be a better time to vacuum the Lobby at the first floor seemed more like a storage area. It would be nice to have it more appealing. Would like to see the lounge on the first floor open and running

Charming old hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable bed and a nice breakfast spread accessible 24/7. Limited entry with a coded lock to enter the hotel, so it is sort of a blend between a hotel and a rental property.

It didn’t bother us at all, but if you are looking for tidy, uncluttered common areas, this isn’t it. It’s quirky and unique.

Cute little hotel, kinda funky in a way, but impressive in its updating of the rooms and decor. It’s an old building and the floors creak and the walls are a little thin, but that almost becomes part of the charm because otherwise the rooms are updated far beyond what one might expect in a hotel or this type. A nice little breakfast room supplied with yogurts and pastries, etc. completes the fine attention to detail.

This is a beautiful old building which looks to be only partially utilized at the moment. The room was small but comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Cathlamet on foot or the surrounding area by car.

My single room was very clean and comfortable with access to a very nice lounge, breakfast room, and a library. The continental breakfast was very simple but quite adequate. There was a microwave oven in the room.

There was nothing to be concerned about.

Perhaps the downstairs does not belong to the hotel, but the entrance was filled with odd items (leftover from an event?) which was offputting. But the hotel upstairs was very nice.

Old and interesting, but maintained with such care it’s not a bit “worn out”.

The rooms facing the street have a good view; the rooms on the other side just have a view of unappealing flat rooftops.
