The location was the best feature. The service was excellent. My TV didn't work but i sent a message at night and the next morning they were there to fix it. I also thought the coffee pot didn't work but they explained how to use it. Though there were problems, they were quickly fixed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They made up for the minor problems.

The check in process was difficult but once again I sent a text message. Another party also had difficulty. The codes they sent to open the lock boxes didn't work. They directed me to go to the second floor to get my spare key. The problem was the steep stairs which I couldn't climb. The other party went up and got my key for me.

Four soft clean nice pillows on the bed. The room was immaculate. Though this is an old building, the heat/temperature day and night was perfectly comfortable in the building and my room. The one bathroom for the two shared rooms was huge, clean and well equipped. The best thing I liked were the staff that I met, Adrian and Ilesa. They were helpful and personable, and I am sure they treat all the guests that same way. I like that I found an authentic historic place to stay in Leavenworth that was comfortable besides. It gave me an old West feeling to my trip, even though you imply Bavarian.

The lockboxes. They appear old and not be uniform, and are hard to get into, especially my room #7. There were other guests who were having trouble with theirs too. The wonderful old pictures are hung too high everywhere.

Our room, the family suite, was very cozy and inviting. It was nicely decorated and even included a Christmas tree. The beds were comfy and it was nice having a full kitchen. It's a wonderful location, just a block or 2 from shopping, restaurants and activities. The self check-in worked great. I did have trouble finding our room because it was outside the main building, but the house keeper was very friendly and showed me where it was at.

It would be helpful to have a small table in the bathroom next to the sink to set a toiletry bag and a hook by the sink to hang a hand towel. Also, additional kitchen utensils would be nice, like a pancake flipper, big spoon, etc. The TV in the bedroom could use an upgrade. The picture was very dark.

Room is very comfy. Old time charm. Clean and Homey. Outside sitting area was very cute and a nice bonus.

Not being able to get someone to answer the phone. Check in, I had no idea where my room was, Tried calling several times and was put on hold to listen to elevator music. Luckily, I found a repairman working on a remodel who was able to show me where my room was located. A map above the key holders would be a nice idea. Later another guest checking in had the same problem getting a hold of someone for help. Kept calling and being put on hold.

The location of this lodging is incredible. The bed was comfortable. The parking was accessible and close. This has a very European Pensione style of lodging, right down to the bathroom and it's shower/tub and the stairs. Fun place to stay.

Rooms #7 & #8 shared a standard bathroom in the hall that fed all of the rooms upstairs. The door wasn't secured by a key that only those rooms could use, so anyone could use the toilet and the tub/shower that was inside the facility. The tub/shower was clean yet was was dated. It had very little water pressure, probably due to the shower head, and the floor of the tub/shower felt like it may crack at any moment. While, this was not a problem for me, it may be for others. Also, for others, the stairs are steep and have a narrow tread and width.

Communication with the hotel before our stay on the how to's of check in and what to expect. Instructions everywhere posted for convenience. Lots of coffee in every common room. Great views. Felt safe in room and in main building with the codes and keys.

The bed felt old and hard. Not enough towels for 2 people to take a shower so one of us couldn't. We did not call to ask as it was just a one night stay and were going home the next day. Not lodges issue but the guests next to us were up all night coughing and kept waking us up, so I hope they felt better after their stay.

Loved the location, and the ease of self check in. Parking was right outside the room as well. The room was super clean, and had a lovely little vibe, highly recommend it to anyone going to Leavenworth. I didnt rate the staff, because I never met any of them :D. Completely self service, which isn't a bad thing by any means. It was definitely on the pricier side though

Price was quite steep! Close to $600 for a single night for 4 adults. Sheesh!

The location is great. Right downtown where all the shops and festivities are. You get a reserved parking spot also. We like the historic property but some might not like it. Bed was comfortable.

This is an historic property so if you’re looking for modern you may not like it. There is only a standup shower and the sink is located outside of the bathroom but works well. Baseboard heating worked fine but hard to control temperature.

My room was perfect for my stay - I had a sink in the room and a shared bathroom across the hallway. The shared bathroom was kept super clean and was very convenient. There location was excellent and super walkable to everywhere downtown. The room was very private - hardly saw any other guests during my 3 night stay.

The back stairs were a little rickety. I had trouble getting my key out of the lock box but this was solely user error. There are tow key lock boxes and I was looking at the one upstairs instead of downstairs but I called the number for help and it the owner was super helpful and gave me a code for the upstairs one (Later I found the downstairs main lock boxes).

Very nice and clean. Had everything you needed. Close to town.. and great that there is parking.

The curtains in my room really need updating, they are see-through, and the light is right outside it.. I didn't really see anyone around at night and can't call out on my phone. the people next to me were fighting and having a drunken row, and it was a bit scary.. the man was really aggressive. would be good to have had someone in the hotel to manage that..
