Cute hotel right in the heart of Leavenworth, just a block from Front Street, the main street with most of the shops and restaurants. Very easy to walk to everything, and parking is included with your stay. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced, and a good value. Would stay again, but would request a 1st floor room. 😁

The only downside is no elevator, but we knew that beforehand. Our room on the 3rd floor was great for quiet; but going up and down those stairs got tedious, especially since it was 95 degrees the day we were there. 😉 Of course that's no reflection on the hotel; just something to be aware of. We didn't have the hotel breakfast, but they provide one in a to-go box if you pre-order the night before.

The location was ideal, just at the outskirts of town and walking distance to most of the town's amenities. The suite was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable (welcomed A/C). We also appreciated a designated parking space. It's really a home away from home.

The elevator kept breaking down. Not a big deal as there are stairs but for those that have knee issues, it will be a challenge depending what floor your unit is on. Also, when the shower is on, it became very loud in the bedroom.

Loved the views of the mountains while remaining central to the shopping district and maintaining the esthetic of the city’s theme.

Minimal options to accommodate for dietary sensitivities on the to go breakfast menu. Admittedly a step up from common continental, my travel companion was gluten sensitive and pretty much wrote off the menu in favor of crepes next door. We loved our stay and the staff, but if we could change one thing, it’d be an intentional menu/playbook for guests with dietary sensitivities.

Gal in office was super friendly and helpful. We only stayed 1 night and we were leaving super early in the a.m. before breakfast. She offered for us to stop back before 9pm and grab some granola and yogurt and put it in our fridge so we could still have something for breakfast. We forgot, but such a sweet gesture. The location was great and the rooms were clean and updated. Comfy beds and pillows. Cute little outdoor seating area. We would definitely stay again.

OMG the Air Con. Every time we fell into the room, we were happy to be there. I was grateful. The beds, the bathroom/shower were lovely. Location is perfect, couldn't be better for Leavenworth - next to restaurants, shops, not far from the highway but far enough it was quiet.

Well, walking up to the third floor with luggage in blasting heat was unpleasant. No elevators - just a warning for travelers who may need them. Breakfast was OK, though my vegan friend could have used an option (she didn't love the oatmeal). I think we would stay in a hotel with a pool next time we traveled during the heat wave.

The location was off the beaten path and quiet. (This unit was not part of the main hotel and out of the busy part of town.) The view of the river from our Shenandoah room and deck was spectacular. The room was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and laid out well. The apple strudel purchased separately was yummy. The king bed was comfy although on the firm side. The soaking tub was enjoyable. (It had jets I did not use.) A wood privacy screen between our deck and the neighboring deck helped a lot. The BEST water pressure in the shower, ever! I would definitely stay in this room again! It was just so relaxing having the river view with no buildings directly across it, only trees.

Multiple door codes were hard to remember. (The unit was keyless.) The walls were a little 'thin', as noise could be heard from the next door unit and maid service began in the hall at 10am. The A/C for the unit was central to the building so not adjustable by us. This made it a little warm at night but I brought a small portable bedside fan which helped. We could have opened the windows as there were screens, but being our first time there we didn't know if it would cool down so we opted not to, and for light blocking. FYI - it did cool down at night. The flip side of being slightly out of town is that you have to drive into town and pay for daytime parking.

Location, spacious room for two couples.

Room was not ready at check in time of 4pm. I had stopped in the office an hour previous and the host said he would text when ready. No text by 4pm, went back to the office and host had no recollection of our conversation. Lots of confusion, almost sent us to our unit without room key as room was still being cleaned. Made was still in our room when we got there. Both toilets kept running after flushing, requiring an adjustment each time to stop.

The location was convenient. We didn't need our car during our stay there. The room itself was comfortable in bedding and space within the room; sitting area with fireplace and hot tub. I liked the balcony/gathering area for the hotel guests.

The breakfast food was fair. though I did like the yogurt parfait. I realize that the age of the building, like many in the village are old. But when you have to carry large/heavy luggage up stairs to the third floor since there is no elevator, it's kind of precarious.

Obertal Inn is located right around the corner from the main center, shops and restaurants, really no need to drive anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed being in Leavenworth while the town was set up for Christmas, the lights were just fabulous this truly is a destination place. Linda and her staff at the Obertal Inn were very kind, helpful, always with a smile ready to help you, be sure to have one of their apple strudels, the morning hot breakfasts was a nice touch.

Needs parking for people that have LARGE pickup trucks.

Centrally located to shops and restaurants. Large shared balcony. “Dream Suites” were on the quieter side-at least the studios were. Nice bed and shower! Space to relax and everything needed as long as you’re eating out. Good utensils and a nice size dining table to bring meals back or to play board games. Microwave, small fridge, and good sized sink perfect for saving or reheating leftovers. Great place for two adults and a dog.

Three floors worth of stairs was a surprise. A bit hard with an older dog that we needed to carry up and down! Very close to Festival Hall, so it could be noisy during Oktoberfest…there were earplugs provided! We weren’t here at that time, so noise was not a problem.
