Very quiet location just off the main part of town, beautiful grounds, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very cozy inside and easy to adjust the heat, as it was chilly out. It was a bit too cold out to use the balcony outside the room, but it was an amazing view of the surrounding mountains, especially with the sunrise pink/orange glow. We were going to be arriving at night around office closing time, so staff was kind enough to place our keys in one of the lockboxes and texted the code. Easy check-in and check-out. Loved all of the decor and artwork. We also really appreciated the full breakfast provided! It was so nice to have ACTUAL scrambled eggs, not the substitute stuff like so many places do. There was also French toast, sausage, and several bread/toast offerings and cereals, coffee, teas, and juice. They really go out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in Leavenworth.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really liked the secluded location of the hotel. The well-manicured quiet backyard with two fire pits and a spacious shaded patio was a great place to relax. While our kids enjoyed the small pool, there was a sauna for us, adults. The deluxe king room was clean, neat, and updated with a very nice spacious bathroom. Our ground-level place had a small porch and a small grassy front yard. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Blue Elk Inn.

The breakfast selection was very limited and some of the food stations were empty at more than one occasions. Parking was sometimes challenging in the mornings. We thought a deluxe king room would be a little more roomy. The room didn’t have a table. However, to make up for it, there was a table for 4 outside of the building. These are just a couple minor inconveniences. We loved staying at the Blue Elk Inn and will return sometime in the future.

Liked the fact that you could take your breakfast food and go outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I honestly did not get to use the sauna but my husband used the pool. Good experience. I liked where my room was located near the upstairs balcony. Only another room was across from us.

One night although we are senior citizens we walked from the hotel to town instead of driving. I was also surprised when talking to people at/in the stores, restaurants and even a lunch at the golf course that most people that resided there were not familiar with the Blue Elk. That being the case they could not recommend the hotel when people were looking to stay. Perhaps contact the visitor's centre and leave your information there.

I liked the location since it is quiet and off the main street yet still close to the town center and accessible by nice walk. Room was beautiful with pleasant mountain decor, clean and spacious with a large king bed.

By my opinion shower needs an upgrade. It doesn't have a good pressure and flow. Leavenworth and the hotel pretend to be a Bavarian or Tyrollean style, well I am spoiled by the experience I had in Alps. Breakfast was OK but was nothing to be compared with the one offered in Alps. Perhaps, look into that. Just a suggestion. And Blue Elk might be favored for that.

Beautiful gardens and views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The scavenger hunt was fun. Breakfast was better than standard continental. A skip away from the roller coaster. I did not have my pets with me, but they were dog friendly and clean!! At night, I'ts all lit up in blue lights, magical!!! I normally stay at other locations there, but this is my new favorite. I'll be back.

There were some baby spiders in our room, but that's to be expected this time of year.

I liked the breakfast in the lovely dining area in the lobby, the location so close to town on Icicle Road, the swimming pool, and the general grounds and organization of the property. It was nice to be able to swim in October since the pool was heated. There was also a bonfire going on the grounds, which I liked. Breakfast had both hot and cold options. I requested a room with a bathtub, which they gave me. The bath towels were great. I also liked having a balcony, where we could sit. Price was good.

I wanted to use the sauna. In order to do so, you schedule a time with the desk staff, which I did with the young woman in the evening. When I went to use it, however, the sauna was locked. I had to troop into the lobby in my wet bathing suit to let her know. She had just forgotten. So she turned it on for me, but after letting it heat up for 20 minutes, which she said would be needed, it probably was only about 80 degrees inside. The pillows weren't comfortable, nor were the bed linens very nice. I'll also mentioned that they pool had a fair bit of debris on the bottom, so it could've been cleaned. My husband missed having a desk in the room - that said, he had plenty of room in the lobby to work, so ...

Room is spacious and very clean. Good location, not right in downtown but close enough. Very quiet because not on the busy road. Good outdoor space with landscaping, it’s great sitting outside for breakfast. Free bikes to borrow. 😃 There are alternative milk selections which is very considerate for people with dairy allergies. Overall it’s a very charming and comfortable place.

Not much, wish there were more varieties of fruits for breakfast. Maybe change carpet to floor in the future?!

The rooms was cozy and clean. We booked this only a few days before as we decided last minute to come to Leavenworth to do the Enchantments thru hike and lucked out with a room on the first floor (after hiking for 15.5 hours stairs were the worst thing imaginable!). We didn't have time to use any of the facilities (sauna, hot tubs, pool, bikes, etc), but did take advantage of the included breakfast on our second morning, which was delicious. The location is also only a 9 min drive from the Snow Lakes trailhead. Parking at the hotel was also easy and free.

While the breakfast options were delicious, the options were limited. Also, we were surprised that our room was not cleaned while we were away. If you're looking to do activities in town, it is a short drive from many of the main attractions.

we were given an ADA room (which we hadn't requested), so the bed was lower to the ground than we are used to, but it was comfortable. The doors were wide, and the shower was step in. Everything was in working order and clean. The A/C didn't have a temp setting, just a hot to cool selection or fan. It was a bit tricky to get a comfortable temp, but it was fine nonetheless.

The breakfast buffet area gets crowded and difficult to navigate, some trays to hold items would be helpful. The fruit offerings were only melons, some bananas or oranges would have been nice.
