This is really an old timey motel. The room was huge, with a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and fireplace, table and chairs. Each room faces the river and has a nice little table and chairs to sit and enjoy the river and surrounding beauty. You can watch the river rafting boats float by and wave. This was probably more enjoyable than going into town.

Upon arrival, the front of the hotel looks a bit run down. I was wondering what horrible mistake I'd made. The hotel is 4 miles from Leavenworth, which is probably my fault for not paying closer attention, but I was expecting it to be closer. The beds were a little uncomfortable, so if you have back issues I would pass.

This is a great little place. It has a private beach on the river with chairs and a fire pit. You have a little sette in front of your room to look out at the river. It was very quiet and peaceful. The owners were great even though you might had to wait a bit for them to get to the office they were very accommodating. The only not good thing was the ice machine was broken, but all you had to do was go downstairs to the office and they were more than happy to fill your bucket.

Good location, 5 min from town. Everything was a bit old but spotless clean. We even had a stove and a full size fridge in the room. Good value for the cost.

Location is right on the on highway. Also, you can not fully enjoy big windows to the river side because of the other people passing by to their rooms. Otherwise everything is good.

The location is perfect, rooms are clean and comfortable, the shared patio space facing the river was beautiful, we were able to setup our propane grill on the sand for some bbq, and the owner is there to make sure everyone is comfortable and has an amazing stay. Absolute hidden gem that our family will stay at again!

Rivers Edge is no frills, but it is clean, comfortable, and in a great location on the river, all for a fraction of the price you would pay 4 miles down the road in Leavenworth. We loved sitting/floating in the clear river water after our hikes each day.

The lady at the front desk was awesome, very welcoming and polite. The whole check in experience was great. The hotel itself is a bit old, but makes it up for the nice comfortable stay. The rooms are old too but you everything you need for a good night's sleep. The view from the room of the river is amazing!!! It is right next to it. No parking issues.

Couldn’t find room in Leavenworth, so defaulted a little out of town. It happened to be a hot day the first day, so river access a few steps away was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet little beach space and protected water area. The next day was rainy, equally enjoyed the covered second floor porch with tables and chairs. We went tubing one day, staff graciously provided towels. Rooms are outdated, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Nothing. We knew we would overpay for the older room because of the Leavenworth location. Once we accepted that, all was good.

When we checked in the lady was extremely welcoming. Went to our room to assure it was ready, turned on the fireplace, asked if we would need anything else (blankets, etc.) so friendly. There was a patio that butted up to the river that had a table and 2 chairs. She assured there were cushions on the seats. Definitely ABOVE and beyond.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the view of the river from the window was absolutely stunning. The sound of the flowing water was incredibly calming. I’m really glad I chose this place and would happily stay here again.

It was right on the river and there was a patio that stretched the entire length of the hotel so we could sit out by the river in the shade and enjoy the day!

The stairs to the upper level were pretty steep. And some of the rooms were outdated.
